Food quality wasn't there. I remember the Green Papaya 20 years ago downtown. The chefs took the time to make it real. Not anymore.
Tasty food for a buffet lunch only and good price too. Great atmosphere and interior. Friendly staff and enough seating for medium and large groups.
The ambience is marvelous, food is damn tasty and the staffs are so amazing. Best Thai food in Ottawa. Nice decors. Lunch at Green Papaya was Tom Yum soup hot & sour Lemongrass w/ mushroom. Kaew Wan Pak Green curry w/ tofu & veg. Thanks

Some of the best thai food in ottawa wish you guys opend arlier or i would buy lunch more often
Green Papaya hosted a birthday party for my family including about 40 guests. They did an incredible job, they were super helpful and the food was lovely. At the end they insisted on packing up as much of the extra food as we could handle. Such great hosts!
The atmosphere, service and food are all good, just they are overpriced. We ordered one drink, one starter, two dishes, two rice, all together with tax and tip, we spent over $80. Especially you need pay extra for rice per person, around $4 per person, this might be the reason I won't go for a second time.
This restaurant is very old. Need renovation. Food tastes excellent. Giving four stars mainly for food tastes.
