I love taking my kids to this bakery! You are greeted with samples of their delicious breads. My son loves the pumpkin chocolate chip bread, it’s to die for! Great harvest is my family's favorite place for all of our baked goods. They have an amazing selection of fresh baked breadsthey’ll slice it for you, huge cinnamon rolls, made to order sandwiches & lots of delicious desserts. Lemon bars are the best!
Great Harvest is my favorite bread ever, and I’m thankful to have the Meridian location convenient to me. The staff is friendly, the breads and cookies are frankly addictive, and the variations for their offerings are delightful each time I visit. If you ever try their Red, White & Blue bread,, try warming it with cinnamon butter at home. Dreamy!! Otherwise, highly recommend their garlic cheddar bread, along with their standard honey wheat bread. The quality is the same, great, every time, too. You’re truly earning your use of the word ‘GREAT’ in your name, Great Harvest, Meridian!!
Something is Different. Sadly. I used to rave about this place & loved coming here. Recently in the past 6 months- I order my sandwich online & ask for it grilled- when I pick up- NOT grilled, no veggies on it details on sandwich shows veggies- this is the 3rd time. They got rid of the 1/2 off day old treats... now it is only 20% off. And sad to say the recipe for their fruit bar and cookies is not the same. They are flaky and dry. Nothing "chewy" about them. The ingredients say nothing about the cookie having oatmeal in them either. I'm sad to waste $10 on a 6 pack cookies. Staff is friendly though.
I ordered a gift basket from this location and they were so helpful to accommodate my request on December 22, 2022 even though it was close to Christmas . When I picked it up on December 23 it was the best. I gave this to a good friend and they were so happy! Thank you Great Harvest Bread Company located in Meridian, Idaho out by Cloverdale Road and Fairview Ave!
The bread and sweets are absolutely delicious! The staff is nice and the sandwiches are good. They give free samples of bread or cookies when you stop in. I suggest trying everything available. Some of them will surprise you. My favorite is one that I didn't expect to like. I also really like that they have gluten-free bread. The only negative I have to mention is the size of the gluten-free sandwiches. They're significantly smaller than the regular sandwiches, but at the same price. Before I found it necessary to go gluten-free, I used to order a half sandwich. However a whole gluten-free sandwich is barely bigger than a typical half sandwich. I'd love to see them go to giving you 1 1/2 gluten-free sandwiches for the price of the whole sandwich, even if it meant $1 extra for the gluten free bread. Thanks & God bless!
One of my favorite bakeries in the treasure Valley! Both of the treats I got were phenomenal, especially the red velvet roll! It definitely did not last long in this household. Also if you’re in here make sure to ask him for a slice of bread as a sample. From what I remember they typically ask you if you’d like the sample but if they don’t just ask! I definitely need to find myself here again soon. Can’t wait to try all their other treats!
Amazing baked goodness. Variety of tasty foods. Friendly and helpful employees behind the counter. Great sandwich or salad options for lunch. The spicy grilled cheese and apple sandwich is the best. Prices ok. Dine in or they do a great job with food for events as well. Worth the visit.
Love fresh smells. Cute bread sculptures at the door. But not something I can purchase. 2 day old products that are not tasty. Mostly over priced.
Entire staff is friendly and helpful. All their baked goods are made daily and from scratch. I particularly enjoy the Cinnamon Burst Bread on every visit and best of all, it is locally owned and operated!
I hate to leave bad reviews but I'm super disappointed with my first experience. I ordered off Door Dash. Two turkey bacon sandwiches and two chips. I got one bag of chips and both sandwiches were completely wrong. The listed ingredients are turkey, bacon, provolone, herb mayo, red onion, lettuce, & tomato. Neither one had turkey, cheese, or herb mayo. But WAS drenched in BBQ sauce.
