Food Land Market

This was my 1st time, but it would not be my last time. Excellent selection of imported items. The store was very clean and well ordered. I walked to the back to order some hot food and the man there was young, very friendly and polite. They opened the back door briefly, and I saw the mother of the family hard at work preparing some of the food items. They have many Middle Eastern items, but I believe they specialize in Iraqi cuisine. I could go back many times and try a variety of items, especially their sweets and grilled olives! You order your food in the back and immediately sit down in front, where they will bring it to you. I ordered the lamb shwarma sandwich Arab-style with a side of hummus. The sandwich had the perfect level of spice, and the hummus was very creamy served with Pita bread. Before you leave, go to the cash register to pay your bill along with any other items you've picked up in the store while you wait. I definitely recommend getting an authentic hot brewed coffee before you leave. The only complaint I can think of is that they do not advertise enough and it took me almost 2 years to find this store/cafe.

This place is so clean and organized. Turkish coffee is delicious and so is the food! We had yummy baklava for dessert! Food presentation was beautiful but I forgot to take pics. Guess I'll have to go back

Amazing hidden gem in Boise. Imported, affordable Mediterranean and UK staples and treats including Cadbury’s in several meticulous grocery aisles, PLUS excellent middle eastern breakfast/lunch/dinner made on-site PLUS fresh baklava/pastry bar PLUS coffee bar with authentic Turkish coffee. You’d never know from the outside of this place how comfortable and friendly it is inside. Owners/staff very welcoming and accommodating. Love this place!

THINGS TO LIKE: The food is incredible here. Everything is cooked to perfection. The flavors were well-balanced with no one dish overwhelming the rest. Pictured is the chicken shawarma on the left and the beef on the right, with fries, salad, and a yogurt-based dip. ALSO TO LIKE: This is a food market for all the Middle-Eastern groceries. The aesthetic blends a beautiful pine wood modern decor with the specialty market feel. There's a coffee shop as well as a deli which, as mentioned before, produces quite delectable food. The staff are available, very helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. Music is just loud enough to be noticed but does not interfere with even quieter conversation. It's a true ambiance. I'm still thoroughly impressed by the atmosphere this place has created. THINGS NEEDING IMPROVEMENT: Nothing that I can think of. It was a very enjoyable experience for the whole family. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal and a peaceful, pleasing atmosphere.

Great place!! Got a Turkish coffee and two baklavas and hung out here doing office work for a few hours. Ended up getting the Swarma with fries for lunch and it was great! Awesome little grocery store too with lots of Middle-Eastern and Mediterranean goods.

Oh my goodness! So delicious and wonderful atmosphere. Lunch was amazing! Now I'm going grocery shopping! The products are so we'll priced.

Amazing food and great customer service! 5 points for aesthetic! I love the way the place is set up. Easy fo navigate and great menu display. Their cakes are another story! Marlenka cakes are my favorite and I can only find them here! Also a wide variety of Halal meat options. Overall highly recommend!
