Story

Our focus is on fresh, high quality ingredients with a focus on Door County and Wisconsin products. Enjoy our varied selection of wines, craft beers, and cider with your homemade meal in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We offer angus burgers, vegetarian items, gluten-free, fish fry, dinners, daily specials utilizing what's local, weekend breakfasts, and house made desserts. Housed in the building that was the Kramer-Grasse Dairy in the 1930s.

Everyone needs to know about their meatloaf! I came in for a quick lunch in-between work events and ordered the meatloaf special, hoping for a little taste of home. Well, my mom apparently has some work to do, because Grasse's Grill meatloaf was so much better! The staff were extremely friendly and happy to chat, sitting at the bar. Although I couldn't stay long, I hope to be back for another visit!

Stopped in here for the first time this weekend and would definitely go back. The food was great, especially the nachos. Love that they change their menu to what is fresh and available. Tried the dessert of the day and had a fabulous Turtle brownie with caramel ice cream! Yum! Only down side was the staff seemed to collect behind the bar when not busy and made it a little awkward when you are sitting nearby. But overall very positive experience I would go back 😆

Came here for dinner, place was busy but we were fortunate enough to be seated right away. Homey atmosphere, pleasant staff. The cheese curds were decent, but the ranch for dipping was great. We got the fish tacos and the meatloaf - both meals were pretty standard fare. Good selection of local and national brews as well.

We have a summer home in Door County. Door County is famous for it's excellent cuisine. After a long winter of absence from the bountiful access to diverse and excellent dining options, when spring time comes and we return at long last to Door County... without fail, our first dining-out experience is Grasses. The owners and staff are warm, friendly, and accommodating while the food itself is consistently wonderful. The establishment has a nice ambiance with no pretense. It's nice but humble, not grandious, no lakefront views... Just excellent food, phenomenal desserts, friendly atmosphere, and a very nice selection of beer, wine, cider etc. Highly recommend.

Fresh home cooking by a talented chef. The whitefish sandwich was perfectly fileted and fresh. The tarter sauce, homemade of course. The chicken was tender with a pleasant crust made with honey. The pastry chef is a huge talent. The Mile High key lime pie was something wonderful enough to dream about!!
