Chef Bruce Alexander, well-known for his landmark restaurant at Hotel du Nord in Sister Bay, is enjoying his tenth year in Fish Creek.

The environment is beautiful. It was a bit loud but a beautiful place with amazing service. The food was also amazing. My husband and I both had steaks and were not disappointed. It was one of the best steaks I've had in wisconsin. I would definitely recommend going by if you have a chance. You will not be disappointed. Dietary restrictions: My waitress was very helpful in asking questions regarding gluten-free options. Especially with the drinks.
While other restaurants come and go Alexander’s continue to serve impeccable meals nightly. I enjoyed a fillet, it was great and came with potatoes and vegetables to die for. This time I made the $5 upgrade to an Alexander’s salad, possibly the highlight of our trip. My wife got the lobster and was equally impressed with her meal. The service was outstanding.
Service: 5 stars Food: 4.5 stars Atmosphere: 3.5 stars Drinks: 3.5 stars Value: 4.5 stars Service here was absolutely fantastic. Food was also excellent, but could use a better bread service. Admittedly that’s a pretty minor gripe. We tried the fish special grouper and the cioppino which were both good choices. Atmosphere definitely left a bit to be desired. The feel doesn’t match the quality of the food or service. Drinks were just OK but Brandy Old Fashioneds were premixed and the one off menu cocktail I ordered was completely botched, but at least we weren’t charged for it. Good prices on the wine. Come here for the food and service, and don’t expect too much from the cocktails or atmosphere. With those expectations you’ll be well served.
If we could give 10 Stars, we would!! We are newlyweds and when my husband made reservations and let them know we just got married we were not expecting to be greeted like we were royalty. Not only did they put us in an area by ourselves the staff was phenomenal! Very attentive, very warm and gracious, and very polite. Right off the bat once we sat down served us Champagne on the house. We ordered a creme brulee for dessert to share that was also on the house. They absolutely made our first night out as husband and wife the most memorable ever; we cannot appreciate the staff more. The food was absolutely awesome and exceeded our expectations. Thank you to the chefs, maitre d, entire staff, and Romeo, our server!! 10 's!! What an experience
The staff & service was amazing! Our waiter Romeo was a delight! However there was a 4 top that was incredibly intoxicated & disruptive for everyone else around them, I really wish staff would have addressed it. It was hard to converse & they were outright yelling at one point. Features: Some wait staff was masked.
If I could give 100 stars I would! First time ever dining at Alexander's and it was excellent from start to finish! Service was beyond amazing! Filet Mignon cooked perfectly, and the best flavor! Dessert were also fantastic! We will return! Reservations highly recommended! You won't be sorry!
Our anniversary dinner was outstanding! We absolutely recommend this restaurant in Door County. I had made reservations a month ahead of time to make sure we could experience dining here.
One of our favorite stops when we are visiting Door County! Had thanksgiving dinner there this week and it was amazing! Friendly staff, great service, and always delicious food. We will be back on our next trip!
Came here in 2021 on New Years eve when we got married and they were fabulous. This year we came again and our server, Romeo, remembered us. He is such a pleasant, polite, wonderful server. Staff, food, and ambiance are always perfect here. Had a wonderful anniversary dinner. Food is top notch, drinks are great, and always beautifully decorated. Thank you and see you next year!
We had a wonderful dinner for a family of four. The staff was friendly and service was excellent from our server Mark. Kids menu was excellent with a petite filet. They brought kids out a fresh fruit appetizer which was a beautiful touch. Food was well prepared. Drinks menu and wine list was expansive especially for Wisconsin. Will visit again.
