We love games. New and old, it's all the same to us. It's a culture that has been missing in the area for some time now, and we at GT Games hope to change that! Have an old Nintendo you want to get rid of? Come see us! Want to grab some friends and come play Super Smash Bros on the N64? Come see us! Looking for that copy of Final Fantasy VIII that you just haven't been able to get ahold of? Come see us!

I love finding new video game stores when on vacation and this is one of the best! Lots of glass case items to choose from along with many cheaper titles out on the floor. Found some games I have never seen in the area I live. Great selection of Switch games, much more variety than those big box stores. They had Amiibo Cards, which my wife was very happy to find. Highly recommend this store!
I love this place! Locally this is the only spot to find retro games anymore. They have pricing comparable to places like ebay minus the extra shipping and risk of ordering online. I’ve never actually bought anything faulty from them and a lot of the things they sell are in very good condition! As far as trade-ins- I’ve done several trade-ins with them over the years and they always give a decent price, even if it’s not “full resale value.” It’s a lot more work selling online and shipping the items out, which can get very costly. Love the place, love the staff, 11/10
Great spot to be for when it comes to games of various types. Games are sold at reasonable prices and their trade-ins are fair and way better than GameStop's. Store layout can get cramped from time to time, but if you're wary of your surroundings it won't be much of a problem. Plus, you support a local business if you shop here! How nice.
Good place to buy stuff, but watch out!! SELLER BEWARE!!! They only give you pennies on the dollar for you items. Take your games elsewhere or sell them online and make what they are really worth! As far as ebay goes, look at the Green sold for option and you can see they give you way less. And 50 cents for a $5 sell game, thats pennies on the dollar. Sell your games elsewhere!!
Everything I needed was looked for immediately, and I was handled very professionally. I happened to have a great phone call with Sabrina, who I enjoyed speaking with for a few minutes, very knowledgeable and took care of me quickly! Thanks for reminiscing with me also when it came to the PS2 conversation, oldies but goodies.

Great staff, had all the materials I needed, great end of the year sale deals for games. I felt like a kid in a candy shop.
Definitely a place to go for retro or table top gaming. Prices are pretty fair on the video games side, but can't speak for the table top side. Pretty big shop for the area its in. Definitely a hidden gem I find while vacationing. Support local businesses!
Dr Dan was super helpful it wasn't like other retro game stores were they just sell you a game like you want it or not he took the time to look up description/gameplay to see if it was what I was looking for awesome store I come to Traverse every year and will always recommend and shop here
They have awesome retro games AND consoles, such as Nes/Snes, N64, GameCube, ds, dsi, GBA, sega genesis, and even consoles as old as the Famicom, atari and atari2600 besides the last 3 examples, they also have plenty of games for all the consoles.they also have more modern games for the wii/wiiU, 3ds, Xbox, PS, and switch. Another section also is dedicated to Warhammer and anime figures, but I personally am not into that stuff. Would recommend for any gamer, nerd, or someone looking for a nostalgia trip.
