Grand Central Bakery

wish i had a place like this back home. enjoyed a delicious egg and cheddar biscuit, the biscuit was chewy and crusty in the best way. they had a nice big case of pastries, croissants, loaves of bread, and more that all looked very fresh and reasonably priced. they also had a number of ready-to-bake products on offer, like pizza crusts, pie crusts, cookies, etc. all in all, grand central is an unpretentious, tasty bakery with a wide selection. would go back with no hesitation.

Grand Central Bakery is an absolute must for food in Portland. Their bread is amazing. Their pastries have something really special that make them taste divine. They also do soups, and sandwiches (both breakfast and normal), which are really great. Oh, and they have parking. What's not to love!?

Great little cafe. Friendly staff, good food, good coffee. I love the atmosphere too. And their cookies are delicious! I really like their grilled cheese sandwich, and they have a large selection of fresh breads for sale.

I go here for lunch often. It's a great place to get something that is at least a bit healthy without feeling sleepy or over stuffed after I'm done eating.

The rolls and pastries are great. They handled a special order of slider buns with great dispatch and friendliness. The price was great. The service was friendly and well carried out. The breakfast egg sandwich was tasty and well-conceived but had a slightly muddled aftertaste of cooking oil. Of course, that does not appear to be their calling card but an add-on.
