Granada

I have only ever had the pizza, but it's absolutely awesome. The quality of the toppings and the cheese is top notch and they really load em up heavy. It's not the cheapest by any means but you definitely get what you pay for and worth every penny and honestly it's not that expensive either compared to say panago or pizza hut, but way better! Definitely recommended. It is a nice restaurant and the atmosphere is relaxing. The staff are very friendly and do a great job and never make you feel rushed and are genuinely happy you are there.

What a wonderful surprise! We were visiting from out of town and stumbled upon the Granada. We had 2 rambunctious little ones with us and were worried about going into a nice restaurant when they were wound up. The staff were amazing and understanding. We had amazing meals which, shut the kids down and kept them devouring perfectly prepared pasta. It was among some of the best Greek food I've ever had. I am a fan. The owner made sure to say hi and ask how dinner was. The kids got lots of hugs from them! We had a spectacular experience in the 50 yr old Granada restaurant. We will be back!

Great food and great service. Orion made sure I received my pizza while my children were sleeping. Awesome deal on right now for a small pepperoni pizza only $12.99!!! Delicious as per usual! Thanks again!

I like Granada's pizza quite a bit though it is pricey. Great big steakhouse style slices loaded with toppings. The Mike's Special in particular is both excessive and delicious. The other food is fine, not exciting but you get what you order. Service is nice and the owners in particular are really friendly. Decor is dated, think 90s Greek grotto, but the place is clean and it's nostalgic for sure. I would give 4 stars if the prices were lower. It's a fun space but takes a bit of advantage of being near the hotels and people not having a lot of choices of where to order when staying in Townsite

We came here for a late dinner. Their kitchen last call is 8:30PM. We made our order at 8:26PM. They were very kind about it and wasn't bothered by last minute ordering, or at least they didn't show it hahah. The price is definitely up there but it's comparable to any other dine in restaurants in the area. The food was amazing! Like we talked about it the whole way home. We got the lamb souvlaki entree, kalamari appetizers, fish and chips, as well as a colossal cheesecake. Not a single complaint about anything!! Everything was perfect! The cheesecake... Oh lord have mercy on my fitness goals... If you have no will power when it comes to food like me... Don't go here. You will finish every last bite despite any meal plans you have. I will definitely return here... Maybe without the family so I can spoil myself more financially lol!! And not have to share the cheesecake! The owner was watering the garden on our way out and he stopped to ask us how everything was. We already paid inside, so he genuinely cares about his customer. He could have just waved and nodded then let us go on our way but he engaged in conversation just to make sure we had a good time. 10/10 recommend this place to everyone don't bring your kids if you want to enjoy the cheesecake to yourself Kid-friendliness: Has booster seats and highchair for kids

People were great. Beautiful location. Prices a bit high, as a Greek restaurant the souvlaki could hve been more authentic. It was underwhelming at best. Great place but complacent.Food: 3/5

Well established restaurant in Powell River. The decor is older but clean. Our server, Yvonne was very friendly and efficient. Homemade tzatziki and hummus set this meal apart. Chicken mezedakia platter #4 and lamb mezedakia were done to perfection: moist, tender and flavourful. The mushrooms were fresh not canned and sauteed in olive oil. Greek salad is freshly chopped, not mushy like some places. And the onions are not overwhelming white onions with a delicate homemade dressing. The only disappointment was that they serve french fries instead of those delicious lemony roasted potatoes. That would have gotten them a 5*.

Excellent from the moment we walked in. Not often do you find a place so authentically family owned and operated. From sitting at the table and reading about Joyce and Gus on Page 1 of the menu, to walking in and being greeted with a smile from the both of them. Two of us shared the Sicilian pizza and the chicken souvlaki platter. It was enough to feed 3 or 2 very hungry tourists. In Powell River? Go feast at The Granada.

Food is not as delicious and is on the pricey side. However, service was good since we were the only table there that night.
