Elevator has been broken for months, crazy superintendent, and now we have trashy people lowering stuff off of the balconies using ropes...way to fail GorFay. When I complained about the insane superintendent all I got was a spiel about “Millennials”. No apologies, just excuses and complaints about their tenants. Real classy place if you include the ROACHES!!!!!! DO NOT RENT, ROACHES!!
Edit: this review was originally written on August 20th and at that point it had been broken for 2 weeks. Today is August 27 and it is still broken. I havent seen any sign of the problem being fixed. STUDENTS BE WARNED! 345 Laurier Ave tenant here. Dont bother moving in unless its on the first three floors. The elevator has been broken for over two weeks and this is probably the.. maybe 5th time its broken since December. They raised the rent in April too and it has broken down several times since then. How is someone supposed to get groceries? Do laundry? Walk their dog? Empty their recycling bin? Without an elevator?? Thank god I dont have a DISABILITY or an INJURY or else id have to moveout. But WAIT.. how can I move out? Bring all of my furniture down TEN FLIGHTS of stairs? Living on the top floor yall! I actually had a dream the elevator was fixed last night. Jokes on me. Ive called the management company to complain but before I could lose my cool they just complained about the owners not willing to spend the money to get it fixed. Excellent management technique. Youre the liason between the tenants and the owner, we go to you for info and when we want info, we get a pity party. Im glad im stuck in this hell. And for how long? The management company's answer to that question "we're hoping before Sept 1st sidenote: its aug 20 and been broken for over two weeks but we're dealing with contractors so we dont have a timeline" Honestly guys, I didnt know where else to complain. I hope you reading this, Google Patron, saves you the trouble of dealing with this malarkey. DO NOT move in to this building IF YOU HAVE A DISABILITY, INJURY, PET, ASTHMA, STROLLER or join me in this hell. *On a positive note, my legs are getting ripped. But that could be the 10 hours a day I work on my feet combined with the 10 stories worth of stairs I have to climb everyday when I'm done work. Who knows! *read with sarcasm
Today is october 30th,2018 and still no elevator since July, after I asked for the rent reduction, management offered me to vacant my place
Awful company whilling to blight the community with abandoned eyesores.
