I've walked by the area many times noticing it took over the former Agean Cafe that used to be at that spot but didn't pay attention of what kind of restaurant it was until this evening. The moment I noticed it's a Korean restaurant, I had to give a try. Already walking in and sitting down is a little treat. The decor of string lights and plants with a decent K-R&B playlist playing already reminds me of the coziness of my own home and WFH set-up. The ambiance gives off a romantic feeling so a nice place to bring a +1 to just chill. The Odeng Tang was delicious but I had to have careful stop in the beginning, work on my other entree before coming back to finish it off. The chicken dish is amazing; didn't realize it's boneless so it's a simple fork poke and straight into the mouth. If you need a quick lean protein fix, this place is it. Def will return to try other things in the menu. Parking: I'd recommend Broughton Street parkade qnd try to scour for first hour free stalls if possible.
Good tasting and freshly prepared chicken served in a different/unique style. Generous portions for a good price. I enjoyed the churro to finish off the meal as well. The restaurant is relatively new , nicely decorated, and very clean. Service was also good. The 18-28% tip range option on the POS machine is a joke though; please adjust to a more reasonable range or just increase your prices by $1-2.
Oh man, oh man oh man! So we didn't really know what to expect coming here, but it had good reviews so we figured we'd check it out. Basically it's like Korean Fried Chicken, but baked. Saying that doesn't do it justice though, because it is so damn tasty and tender that we were blown away. Also the portions are enormous, I don't know who can eat the full one in a single sitting, I had a half order and was stuffed. Other really cool thing, it's boneless! Both the thighs and the drumsticks were deboned so you can just dig in. Shame I don't live in Victoria, because I would be a regular. It's just such a cool, unique spot, and so reasonably priced. Probably the most I've been pleasantly surprised in recent memory.
With an updated menu that covers a variety of classic Korean food, Good Ovening gives a variety of delicious options to provide for an amazing night out with friends for drinks. 100/10 would recommend coming here for a delectable treat and quench.Food: 5/5

I didn’t know this restaurant was Korean at first until I tried it for the first time today. Typical Korean chicken flavours but done in an oven and not deep fried. I had the spicy chilli half order of chicken for $16. It came with some rice cakes, potato salad and coleslaw. The chicken was tender, juicy and served hot. The service was very attentive. I will be back!

I tried many restaurants in Victoria, but the food here was different. They serve delicious foodespecially sauceat reasonable cost. All staff members are very kind and helpful. Also, the restaurant atmosphere was comfortable and romantic. I highly recommend this restaurant and I will certainly visit again shortly.Recommended dishes
This place offers cozy and luxurious vibes. I got a platter of roasted chicken mix of boneless and traditional and salad with cocktail. I was enthralled by how flavourful their chicken and salad were. The cocktails were aesthetically pleasing, beautifully made with variety of colours and delicate flavours. This place must be a hidden gem in Victoria and recommend to those who have been craving for good chicken plates.
The food looked amazing! The food was also sooo good, I would def recommend coming here. Very put together and delightful. The waiter working was very nice and respectful.Food: 5/5
