Excellent chicken. Menu and pricing are a little unclear at first Boneless chicken seems to be a better value over Bone-in chicken. The cheese fries are excellent and worth the extra $1. The dumplings were tiny though.

Amazing chicken, I ordered the garlic sauce and had it with the fries and coleslaw. Best fries, chicken and coleslaw I’ve had in a while. The service was very warm and kind, the meal combo for 13 dollars includes 3 large pieces of chicken, fries, coleslaw and a soft drink! Very nice experience from a newly opened business and I hope to see that the business continues to improve and flourish! It’s me and my friends new favourite spot, we will be back!
1st time to try, In a gasoline strip, Tasty fried chicken, The dine area is small, and the restaurant itself is small, but I believe this caters more to take out orders. Chicken is good!
We ordered a medium boneless Pelicana Signature and a medium bone-in Pelicana Crunch. The Crunch is super crunchy crunchier than the other chicken place nearby. The crust is not flavoured but not salty. The Signature one is sweet and tiny bit spicy okay spicy for me but spicy for my kids - 5, 7, 10yrs. We normally order soy and garlic at a different place but here, they sell garlic and soy flavour separately. We will try that next time.

I’ve been excited to try this place out for quite a while ever since they opened, because my Korean friend told me it’s his favourite chain back home. It’s pretty interesting that the Korean equivalent of Colonel Sanders entered Victoria as what seems to be a licensed mom-and-pop shop, and my experience has been pretty good so far. The chicken isn’t the juiciest ever but still tasty, and my favourite part is that their savoury sauces aren’t overly sweet like some other Korean chicken. The “Hot Devil” is a smokier version of the “Spicy Signature”, neither are that spicy imo. If you’re chasing heat, just go straight for the hottest one and you probably wouldn’t get burnt. Both time I went, they weren’t very busy and I was able to get my 4-piece meal after ~20 min as promised. The pricing is pretty reasonable for Korean fried chicken.
We ordered and picked up around 8pm, and they only had boneless chicken left. The pieces we got were really small, and the breading was chewy. The price for the amount of tiny chicken pieces we got was really disappointing. Maybe their bone-in chicken is better or you have to order earlier in the day to get the good pieces, but I probably wont bother ordering here again based on that experience. Looking at other peoples' pictures, we received much smaller pieces of boneless chicken and I dont really want to risk that again.
First try here had the Gang and the hot devil. Well done batter, good marination on chicken. Flavours were good, nice balance on hot devil. The Gang is on the sweet side, but still quite tasty. Will be back here. One star off because I got a whole bunch of little bits of batter and skin in my boneless order, seemed like a fair bit of filler on that portion. Tasty for sure, but no meat in evidence on a bunch of the pieces. I'll just get the bone in from here on out.
