Golden Star Chinese Food

Pricey like most Chinese restaurants but definitely worth it. Everything is quality made by hand from scratch, except fortune cookies. Probably the best egg rolls in Ottawa. Fried rice, sweet and sour chicken balls, lemon chicken, Shanghai noodles and General Tao chicken are my recommendations. All are very good.

I ordered combo 3 and it wasn't very good. I've had better quality and more generous portions elsewhere. I'm willing to sacrifice portion if the quality is there but it wasn't. I was disappointed as it was my first time trying it. I won't be back. I do have to give credit for the egg rolls- they were pretty good.

The food was great! I recommend the crispy beef. The service was slow, it took a long time for the food to come. The costs were a moderate amount! I recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious!

Small establishment that dishes out huge flavours! Traditional Americanized Chinese food that will satisfy your craving. Amazing prices for the portions as well.

Rice has the texture of mashed potatoes. You get one star for the spring rolls. Chicken balls were really weird and watery. They messed up a very specific order then tried to argue that they were right. But we were persistent and they agreed to trade our onion-contaminated dish. So, that was decent.

Great food. Fresh. You can taste the quality of the ingredients. Delivery was fast. Withing 45 mins. Great customer service.

Love it, more importantly so do the kids. So far best Canadian Chinese I have yet to have. ~C
