Wonderful little food stall serving authentic Chinese food on campus. They have a small menu but everything is homemade by the mom and pop owners. I tried the tea egg and steamed pork buns and both were great. The buns were juicy and lightly seasoned for a real homemade flavour. As with traditional tea eggs, the flavour was savoury, earthy, and hard-boiled. The owner is so kind and friendly. English is not their first language so please be patient as they try their best to serve you. This spot is great for a quick meal and when school resumes, a hot snack to keep you warm and awake for class!

Amazing buns bao that are very authentic. Hard to find in Ottawa since XiangZi closed. Really enjoy them here!

Owner was super nice, food was very fresh, veggies were crunchy, and the broth was very tasty! Ordered the brisket noodles and a tea egg, which was so much food for lunch, I have enough for later. Good to note that prices advertised also include tax!

Tried this place via UberEats last week… Ordered beef brisket noodles, they didn’t have a huge selection, simple menu. By the time we got the order, all 3 noodles we ordered didn’t have any soup left in the bowl maybe a few drops, which left us wondering if it was some sort of lo mien. Normally when I order rice noodles in soup, the soup is always packaged in a separate container. Wasn’t the case here, no soup at all… The rice noodles ended up sticking to each other into chunks, and tasted bland flavour deteriorated possibly because of the lack of soup. I only kind of enjoyed the tea eggs, which is quite hard to mess up. Colleagues were not fond of the order, half of it was wasted, would not likely order again…

Seeing the other review 2 months ago, I want to add on that I don’t understand why they can’t put the soup and noodles in separate containers. By the time it’s delivered there’s pretty much no soup left and the whole thing is soggy. I even left a note on my order but they just won’t do it.

Great spot on campus with a small but delicious menu. The buns are real juicy and the congee feels cozy and homemade. Affordable prices and the owners are the kindest! Highly recommend, I hope students will finally be able to discover this little gem next fall.

Soooo good! I've had the beef brisket noodles and the pork buns and both were phenomenal! The broth was rich and delicious, and the vegetables were crisp and fresh! Would highly recommend.

Delicious and very authentic pork buns they’re also very big. The owners are very kind, and the process was quick. Definitely coming back again!
