Excellent quality food. A lot of Chinese is too greasy or leaves me not feeling so good. This is definitely good quality food without the stomachache. Spare Ribs were great not the dried up hard to chew things. Fried Rice was soft and fluffy and tasty. Well worth it had dinner combo #12 and #20
The food was pretty good, but the fortune cookies have ads in them. Literal ads. In the fortune cookies. I know we live in capitalism but please, I paid for this meal. I will pay extra for you to omit the fortune cookies. I don't want my food to advertise to me.

I had heard alot of good things about Golden Peacock so my friend and I went there for lunch after a swim at Camp Jahn. We got a House Bowl instead of the scorpion bowl from the recommendation of our waitress. I wouldn't be able to tell you the difference between the two but it didn't matter because it was tasty. We shared a pupu platter for 2 and it was tons of food. We added an extra side of crab rangoons. Golden Peacock has the best crab rangoons I have ever had. The filling is creamy and crabby and the outside is flaky and crispy. It is clear that Golden Peacock changes their fry oil often and it makes a world of difference in the taste of the food. The waitress was a comedian in the making. Very helpful and very funny. Quite entertaining lady. The ambiance is definitely strip-mall chinese restaurant vibe and could use a bit of work but overall the service and food is top notch. I highly recommend this place. Good prices. Fast service.
Worst food I have ever eaten…made us so sick and when I called to complain the owner said to sue him!!! They use to be so good…beef teriyaki was raw and chicken teriyaki was like rubber
Definitely not 4.4 star worthy. Soggy food, wrong order, chicken so slimy it was sliding out of the breading on the chicken fingers.

Extremely great food! A little pricey but definitely worth it , alot of chinese place have gotten me sick in the past but this place is phenomenal and I havent gotten sick not one time . One thing I would say is I wish the orange chicken was battered a little more so its crispier otherwise amazing food and great people!
It pains to write this because they used to be the best Chinese place around by far. Unfortunately, I had a couple bad take out orders a year ago where they were using borderline spoiled ingredients in their fried rice. So I decided to give them a good long break but recently gave them another shot. Again, there was something off about the rice and the egg rolls too this time around. Their prices have gone up, portions down, quality down, and they are flat out skimping out on commonplace ingredients in their dishes. When did they stop including fried egg, bean sprouts, and peas with their rice? Check out the photos others have uploaded. Their fried rice is just rice, your choice of meat, and a couple onions if you're lucky.
Pre-Covid when we were able to go in to eat it was great. The waitress all the staff were very personable and friendly. My husband and I Bob always had a good time there. Great Scorpion bowls. During Covid we ordered the take-out and it was still fantastic. So glad they were able to still stay open for take-out. Food is great very highly recommended. We don't go anywhere else.
