Been going to Golden Palace since I was a kid. It’s an Ottawa institution! Delicious Chinese food, professional, friendly, and efficient staff. It’s great. I typically get takeout, and always order extra egg rolls and homemade plum sauce because it’s also tasty heated up the next day for lunch!

Extremely disappointed. $76 for 1/2 the food I ordered. Portion sizes are very small. Food quality is horrible. Fried rice was bland with not even a hint of salt. Beef an broccoli was horrible the chicken balls and general tao chicken was the exact same thing. I would never order from here again.

I am giving 3 stars because the egg rolls are really THAT good. I drive across the city for them. Otherwise the food is not good and the service is alright. But the hype about the egg rolls is legit.

The food was great! The egg rolls are definitely a must try - wish we got more. Yes, the portion size is smaller than other restaurants but I'd rather pay more for quality food.
