"Gol’s Noodle originated from Lanzhou, China where we inherited the family secret recipe that was passed down generation by generation…In 2014, we brought our authentic Lanzhou hand-pulled beef noodle to Montreal, Canada. In 2018, we expanded our foot print to Waterloo, Ontario. Within only a few months of the grand opening, we became the busiest restaurants in the area.In 2019, we are honored to be invited by Oxford Property Management to open a new location in one of the major shopping malls in Canada – Square One shopping center. We are very grateful to be welcomed, loved and are ready to embrace more exciting opportunities in North America."

Very nice Japanese noodle restaurant. The food is not pricey and portions are good size. We ordered a few dishes and shared between us. The food arrived fast and service was good. Noodle soup and other dishes were quite good and we enjoyed it while having amazing time together. Place is recommended.
Delicious!!! Had an awesome time at Gol’s! Their noodles are made fresh, and the soup itself is amazing! Portion size even one the “regular” is massive, so don’t get hungry eyes and order the large by accident! The staff is also super friendly. I can’t wait to come back.
Fantastic takeout experience! Portions are GENEROUS! I didn't find the "spicy" that hot so next time I'll opt for the "very spicy". THE broth is so warming and flavourful. The hand pulled noodles had an amazing chew. I paired it with a squid ink K-dog from Chung Chun in the next plaza. It was fire!!
The food at Gol's Lanzhou Noodle Waterloo is simply amazing. With their signature hand-pulled Lanzhou noodles as the star of the show, every dish is packed with flavour and texture that will leave your taste buds wanting more. Whether you're a fan of spicy, savoury or mild flavours, there's something on the menu that will satisfy your cravings. The staff at Gol's Lanzhou Noodle in Waterloo are also a big reason why this restaurant stands out. Not only are they very nice, attentive and friendly, but they go above and beyond to make sure that every customer feels welcome and satisfied. In particular, Sabrina deserves a special shout-out for her exceptional service. She's always been friendly, accommodating and welcoming, making every visit to the restaurant a memorable one. Despite being from out of town, Gol's Lanzhou Noodle has quickly become our go-to spot for a delicious and enjoyable meal. Whether you're in the mood for a quick lunch, a casual dinner or a big family meal, this restaurant has something for everyone. Overall, I highly recommend Gol's Lanzhou Noodle Waterloo to anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience in the area.
Gol's Lanzhou is great place for traditional hand pulled noodles. The broth is flavourful and the noodles are nice and chewy. Didn't like the bbq appetizers as much, they add the same powder on bbq items that is a bit spicy. Service is friendly and food was fast once we ordered.
This place deserve more than a 5 star rating! We went to Bingemans Big Splash water park in Kitchener and was looking for something to eat for dinner. Thanks to the yelp reviews we found Gol's Lanzhou Noodle! This is really a hidden gem! Ambiance: Very modern look with lots of wood! I love it! There's a window where you can watch them make hand made noodles fresh from scratch. It was awesome! That kept my daughters busy while we waited in line. Only downside is it only has 1 unisex washroom in the whole restaurant. Seems a bit strange. Service: We only waited in line for 15 mins but when we left the line up it was out the door way. Since this restaurant is located near Waterloo university it was packed with university students. The service was excellent. Our server was so knowledgeable and explain how the noodles work and what was in each dish. He also kept refilling our water. Our food came really quick. Food: Ok the best part of the review is definitely the food. There was a variety of bbq items on the menu. We got the bbq pork belly skewers and the bbq lamb skewers. The pork belly was so crispy, moist and coated with this sweet sauce that was so yummy! The lamb skewers had some cumin and chilli flakes. Also so tasty! The soup was so amazing! We each order the beef noodle soup. You get your choice of 9 different noodle with different thickness. My daughters had the thinner noodles and I had the super thick ones. The beef was tender, noodles was chewy and the broth was so flavourful and not too spicy, even my kids was able to handle it. Tip: we ordered 3 regular size soup but for $2 more You can the large, which is a huge bowl and you can share that. $12.99 vs $14.99. The price is fair. Amazing meal! Would definitely come back again. There's another location in North York which my sisters been to and it's just as good!
If you’re craving good authentic noodles, this place makes them fresh on the spot.. very affordable and tasty dishes. Nice portions and side dishes to pair with entree. The BBQ selection had tons of options to choose from as well. Came on a Tuesday which are 10% every week and waited about 20mins in line. Service was high quality. Overall, worth checking out.
Got the Beef Chow Mein - loved how they added the cilantro leaves that went along very well with the sauce flavors - vegetables were fresh and noodles were firm maybe it's because it's a takeout and it was a 10 min drive home but they were a bit too firm when I opened the packaging - nothing worth taking off a star for, though. I wish I ordered '>mild' spiciness because for me it wasn't spicy at all. It wasn't too greasy which was very nice, and overall, good portions for $15. I've ordered ~20 take outs / delivery from restaurants in the past 3 months but this was the only restaurant that cared enough about their customers to include candy in the takeout utensil packaging - just wanted to comment on the level of attention that the customers receive here.
First time trying Gol’s, the soup was delicious but the Dan Dan noodles were my favourite. The small menu makes it easier to choose, the staff was very nice and the restaurant had a great atmosphere.
Good place to get hand-pulled noodles in Waterloo. Came here on a weekday around 6pm and it was quite busy. The staff are very friendly and the environment is open and inviting. The menu is a bit limited, but understandable as the hand pulled noodles is what they are known for. The regular noodles are quite a sufficient size, and the broth is flavourful. The noodles have a good consistency and good texture.
