Just finished our second stay at the Gogebic Lodge. Not really sure what all the bad reviews are about. Are there things that could be improved, sure, but that can be said for everywhere we've ever stayed. All in all the people are friendly, the food is good, and the rooms are clean. This was our second stay, and we will definitely be back.

Great lake view, reasonably priced food/drinks. Fast, friendly service. Great daily meal specials. Boat rentals are very reasonable and the pontoon we rented was beautiful! Highly recommend!

Wow, i have no idea how this place is open. Seemed like the entire staff (waitress, bartender and cook) hated each other to the point of tears. Our dinner bill had to be comped, everything was a mess. The drunk lady behind the bar was pretty cool, she didnt charge anyone for their drinks. I would not recommend unless your goal is to be trashed at the bar. Sucks, seems like the place could of been pretty nice.
