Goa Indian Farm Kitchen
"Goa Indian Farm Kitchen by Hemant Bhagwani is a tribute to the rich Portuguese influence on the Goan culture of India, dating back to the 450 years of Portuguese rule over this state. It's a culture that is joyous and buzzing, and reflects the region’s stunning cultural diversity today."Come, celebrate the good days, and make the rough ones better, just like the Goans do.""

Delicious Goan cuisine, definitely one of the better Indian restaurants in the North York area. The flavours were incredibly deep, every dish we ordered tasted incredible. The pricing is a little higher than other places I’ve been to, it might be worth the extra distance to perhaps go out further for something more reasonably priced. However if you need your fix and don’t want to go far, this is a great pick.
Food here is phenomenal, love the complex flavours of each dish. The pan-seared branzino was my favourite, with the hint of citrus. If you like your butter chicken on the sweeter side, you will love the dish here as I did! As someone who doesn’t normally enjoy eggplant, the way it was prepared into fries was really unique and I found myself thoroughly enjoying it. Loved my experience here!
The interior of this place looks very luxurious, and the taste did not disappoint. My husband ordered one of the recommended dishes by the waiter, but we both enjoyed the butter chicken much more. It was one of the best butter chicken I have tasted! It is flavoured perfectly without it being over-seasoned or being salty. Their prices are on the higher end, but the quality is worth it. The only down side is that you do not get complimentary rice when you order curry, so you have to order it for $5 or more depending on the type of rice you choose. The amount of rice is enough to feed two average eaters. Their garlic butter naan was also delicious though I wish they included an extra piece or two more.
Menu had enough items for different tastes and diets. We went there at the end of the shift so service wasn’t at its best. Food however tasted good and full of flavours and spices expected. I dont think they made their own Naan or other bread which was disappointing as they taste way better fresh, but I also gotta be fair as they are located in a mall and not everything can be done as expected. Overall satisfied with the quality
Long review alert! We went here to try out their Summerlicious price fixe at $35 and wasn’t too disappointed with the food and taste but the service was BAD. Food we tried: Prawn Balchao Chicken tikka kafreal Goan Shrimp Curry came with rice, naan and I chose a side of chana masala Lamb Xacutti came with rice, naan and we chose a side of dal makhani Mango lassi cheesecake Bebinca / cinnamon ice cream The food I won’t lie was really flavorful and hit the right mark, but what was disappointing is that the owner/manager specifically asked guests beside us if the food was good or if they needed anything and not for once did he come up to ask us the same. Will be looking for alternatives to this place only because of their service.
Great atmosphere, food, and service! Went as part of the Summerlicious event, and ordered the Spicy Prawn Balchao, Paneer Lababdar with a side of Chana Masala, and Bebinca. The dishes were served with a generous portion of rice and naan on the side, that we were offered free refills on. It should also be noted that 18% gratuity was already factored into the bill. The Balchao was good, well-spiced and hearty. The Paneer Lababdar was excellent, perfectly savoury and robust in flavour. The Bebinca was okay, the large scoop of ice cream rather overpowered the cake instead of complementing it. All in all, a great experience, and I would love to eat here again.
We tried several foods : 1.Butter chicken was really delicious. 2.Lasuni cauliflower was so sweet , and spicy. I personally didn’t like it 3. Chicken biryani was good. 5. I tried coconut rice for the first time and it was really delicious. The decoration , atmosphere and overall experience could be a little bit better . Overall , we had a great time there.
My wife and I wanted to try out this restaurant as we wanted to try something new. My favourite dish that we got was surprisingly the Lasuni Cauliflower as it reminds me of sweet chilli chicken. You can’t tell your eating cauliflower, it’s soft and coated in that sauce and similar texture to chicken. Really delicious and that was a 10/10 in my opinion. The lamps chops were okay nothing spectacular. Same with the Xacutti chicken. Almost similar taste to butter chicken and didn’t have much flavour and spice as I was expecting. The Laal Maas was decent as the curry had good flavour and spice along with well cooked lamb. If you have the curries as leftovers they actually taste the same if not a bit better the days after. Also, service is amazing and the servers explain well all the menu items well.
Food was good with outstanding garnish. Staff were friendly and the restaurant was warm and cozy. We tried chicken and shrimp as an appetizer and butter chicken, coconut chicken and veal for main. Overall was a wonderful experience.
Visited this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. We got the prawn balchao as a starter, which was very flavourful. We got the koyla lamb biryani which wad really good and the meat wad very tender. We got Laal maas curry, which was yummy but very SPICY. I'm pretty sure it killed a couple of my taste buds. Overall the food was delicious. However, it was very disappointing that there was no Bebinca or the Mango Lassi cheesecake available : Vegetarian options: Minimal veggie options
