Glenridge Dry Cleaners and Tailors

I brought in a few items to dry clean, a couple of which had oil on them. One of the items came back with black stains which I had acknowledged was not the owners fault. The reason why I’m giving this place two stars is because they said they would call me to pick up my sweater after examining the cause of the stains, but they didn’t which to me seemed like they were avoiding the situation. When I went to pick up my sweater, the owner said he’ll reimburse me $20 (my sweater is $70) but that he won’t take responsibility for the stain - which is fine as I already stated I don’t think the stain was their fault. What really got me to write this review though was the owner’s somewhat aggressive attitude. After giving me the $20, I was going to get my sweater and bring it elsewhere to see if they can get the stain off. He then grabbed the sweater from the table before I could and said I’m going to use this as a rag now! :) as if my sweater is worth pennies. That was very offensive and as a student it is hard to just get $20 from a sweater I paid $70 for. I was very off put by this situation and really wish I just stuck with my regular cleaners.

We've been taking our laundry here for 6 years and the service and the quality of work have always been outstanding.
