Gitta's Charted Petit Point

It’s stitchers’ paradise! I don’t know why such store is so rare here in Ontario. They have unlimited supply of wonderful patterns and other stitching needs! Kathrin, the owner of the store, is so kind and friendly. She patiently helped me decide on the tools that I would need and they are good quality.

Gitta's is a great shop for any needleworker. They stock supplies for cross stitch, needlepoint, canvaswork, and lots of other types of needlework. If they don't have what you need in stock, they will order it for you. The staff is knowledgeable and more than willing to help you out with selecting colours, and fabrics. There is also a small framing shop right in the store. Gitta's also has a monthly stitch night, hosts occasional classes, and has a wonderful open house in December.

Beautiful store reasonable prices could spend hours just looking at the amazing products but need to know what you want and or need there it's paid parking was 1.75 for an hour and twenty minutes.

Holy moly, what doesn't this store sell? Fantastic place to shop, huge selection of products, with great customer service.

I have been using Gitta's for nearly 30 years -- never in person, always over the web. Friends tell me that "Gitta" of the name passed away a while ago but her team is still running the shop. In three decades, they have never let me down, even with what must seem to them like foolish requests (for example 4 yards of congress cloth). All have always been a joy to deal with. I can't recommend them more highly.
