For a $45 sushi platter, which is significantly cheaper than other sushi stores nearby, I was very impressed by the quality and the portion. The amount of wasabi given was also generous. I would gladly come here again for take-out.
Aug 18/2022: Dropping to 1 star due to a literal fly in my soup and sashimi wasn't fresh. Used to go here a lot but no longer. They raised the price due to COVID but for this quality... I'll pass. kind staff. The primary chef was really good.
When you have that crave for high quality premium sushi and a deep pocket come here. They have many many types of fish on the menu that no other places offer unless you take a flight to Japan For a quick take out spot, you’d be surprised how fresh and top notch they are I’m guessing because their turnaround is quite high and a lot of traffic. Items like Toro, sea urchin uni, Madai, unagi, salmon belly, Shima aji, maguro, Ikura, Hotate, Kanpachi, Botan Ebi, hamachi, to name a few. Of course if you’re on a budget they do have a simpler more affordable menu that is very competitive to surrounding sushi restaurants. It’s the best of both worlds!

I love the variety they have in their maki rolls because usually cheap places just load you up with california rolls This place does not do that! 8 pcs dragon roll , , 4 pcs spider roll 6 pcs kamakachi , , 6 pcs california roll , , 6 pcs spicy tuna roll 6 pcs salmon roll 12 pcs dynamite roll , , --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -[SRIRACHI LOVER A] 18 pcs of maki $15.00 Comes with 6 pcs Salmon Kamakachi roll, 6 pcs Spicy Tuna Tempura roll, and 6 pcs Spicy Golden California roll *the salmon pizza was free because it was their grand opening promotion ~ also pretty tasty but not something I would order just because it's not my style haha Honestly, they were all pretty solid in the following categories: -rice to filling ratio -flavorful rolls -presentation I honestly would buy their food again if it were closer to me! I just happen to have an Ai Sushi location fairly close to me
I had tried their take out twice during the city lock down in the pandemic. The sashimi is very fresh and in a very good price. Good value compared with others sushi place in Richmond Hill area. I would give a five star if they could add more choice in sashimi and sushi boat, instead of sashimi and roll boat since their rolls has a bit of room for improve in my opinion.
I ordered on Uber Eats seeing how they had a buy one get one promo. It took over 1.5 hours for the food to arrive with the restaurant making multiple drivers give up on the delivery in the process. If I were to wait in the store for 1.5 hours for my food to arrive it would be unacceptable so I don’t understand how it’s different for delivery. At this point the food itself doesn’t even matter. The frustration of trying to eat here is deserving of a 1 star rating. Edit: The lateness of the order has nothing to do with Uber Eats. Here is an exact timeline: 6:30pm - I place the order, the latest arrival time in 7:25pm 6:50pm - First Uber Eats driver arrives, waits 10 minutes with the restaurant not having the food ready and cancels this order 7:20pm - Second Uber Eats driver arrives, waits 10 minutes with the restaurant before also cancelling 7:50pm - Third Uber Eats driver arrives, waits 15 minutes for the restaurant to present the food 8:20pm - I get the food at my door. I don't understand how the owner believes this is Uber Eats fault, I hope no one else has to go through this.
One of the best sushi places but you would never think of it because it doesn’t look like it. If you look for a quick, good quality, delicious sushi that’s your spot!!! You either way need to try it and the staff is the nicest honestly!!! I’d say perfect for take outs if not the best!
i've ordered oyako don a couple times, but they would occasionally give me a katsudon instead by mistake. not a big deal though. the quality is decent, portions are good.
torched foie gras sushi is amazing. It is a must try item. The sushi and sashimi are fresh. The chef also asks what you like if you don't have anything in mind, so he can suggest you what to get or he will help you decide. It is also amazing to watch how chefs‍prepare the food as well There are also a variety of food to choose from, such as the refreshing cucumber wrap rolls, tempura, deep fried cream cheese crab meat wontons, etc. Then they also have the classic marble pop drink ramune with five flavors to choose from. This restaurant always has different discounts on their webpage. I order the “Regular A” tonight. This is what I had. Not the best of the best but good enough to be “fresh”. Plus it is ready to pick up in a very short time. Fishes taste good. I really like it. Will go back for delivery for sure.
