This place has seriously the most delicious gelato I have ever had. Every flavour just tasted so real. Bananas foster and butter rum is what we landed on but oh man was it hard to choose. It’s such a cute little speakeasy themed gelato shop and it’s a must try if you’re in Nelson! Thanks Gina!
Best ice cream parlour I've ever been to, hands down. Everything, and I mean everything, is made from scratch by human hands and it shows. The service is amazing - they want you to try flavours until you find the best one for you. I think the sorbettos have strongest flavours, but the gelatos are creamier. Update: pumpkin spice cheese cake gelato has a strong flavour and perfect for fall. The decor is interesting and carefully themed. This place is a must go if you're in Nelson and craving something cold, tasty, and local. Hot drinks available, too!
This place is the perfect destination for desserts! The gelatos are delicious Macha flavour was my fav, reminded me of time in Japan, the drinking chocolate I was scraping the sides to make sure I didn't leave any behind and the other goodies are such a treat I've had a cookie and brownie so far. Do your taste buds a favour and head here when in Nelson. You won't be disappointed!
Simply a wonderful little spot. I had the lemon sorbeto and it was delicious. Shaved lemon zest! It’s open late on a weekday which means it’s the only place in town to get a coffee at this time. It was a very welcoming environment as well, the staff are great. I’ll be back soon!
Got the stratchiatella ‘toasted’. The meringue was the star of the show. I think they may use an oat base for the ice cream, as it did have the oat after taste, but overall really cute shop, with unique flavours, and good vibes. Definitely check it out on your next stop to Nelson!
The gelato is so good! Many unique and new flavours to try. Gina’s is one of my favourite shops in nelson and they have super cute decor! Staff is always super friendly, helpful and professional.
This is the most splendid establishment in all Nelson, and I've been to many establishments in Nelson. Gina is the most wonderful and nicest person, the gelato is absolutely magnificent and the atmosphere is second to none. I have frequented this place very often over the summer and I wait in longing for them to reopen in a week from now. This is a place that anyone who lives in Nelson should go to often, and anyone visiting should go to every day they are in town. You have not lived until you have been to this splendiferous place.
I highly recommend ANYTHING made by Gina. Gina shipped me her gelato, cookies, and other desserts as a special holiday gift and I can honestly say it's my favorite gelato. I generally stay away from sugar and sweets but I will always make an exception if Gina made it. Go try it for yourself!
