The team at Gillis dentistry has gone above and beyond in their efforts to make my dental treatment as smooth as possible. I am a wheelchair bound person and the staff is always so accommodating and caring towards my needs when I’m in the office. They couldn’t possibly be more helpful. I also am quite an anxious person when it comes to the dentist and Dr. Gillis gave me the best options for sedation so I can be comfortable as well during treatment. I highly recommend this office, they have done crowns, implants and fillings for me and all have been very seamless, quality experiences with them. I’ve been to many dentists in the past and I’ve never found an office with such competent staff that actually care about you.

I never write reviews, but I just have to for this particular dental clinic as my disappointment is purely surreal based on my personal experience with them. I saw a review as I scrolled expressing the office only cares about making money, which as a business one should, but as a health establishment, why place profit over health hospitality so patently? I'm certain many have had good experiences here, but I personally will let any peer of mine seeking dental services know, this place should be the last one to arrange a visit with, for their own sake of course.

Dr Gillis and staff were wonderful. I had a tooth pulled and had no pain. He was very caring and is a great dentist.

I was referred to Dr.gillis for a bit of a complex issue, he took it in stride, made a game plan and was informative with me throughout the whole process. The front staff are great and try their best to get you in if you have any problems that arise.

Amazing service for the entire family. My 11 year old son, my husband, and myself moved to Kingston 18 months ago and we all needed dental work. The experience was superb and my son was not even worried about getting needles to have a few teeth pulled. The entire staff put the patient experience first & made our visit enjoyable. Glad we found this exceptional clinic!

In any kind of medical setting I like to at least have a general understanding of what's going on or being done to me. I don't visit the dentist regularly my family has a surprisingly good track record with their teeth and am not overly familiar with products, equipment and procedures. I made my first dental apnt in 10+ years last year for a check-up & cleaning - the hygienist was awesome and explained everything she was doing which I really appreciated. I was told I had the beginnings of one small cavity the first I've ever had and not bad considering and scheduled a second apnt to have it filled. I came in for my filling expecting the same kind of treatment/engagement but was unfortunately disappointed. I followed all of the instruction I was given but nothing was explained to me despite my explaining I'd never had a filling before; they clearly made the assumption that I knew what was going on/was familiar with the procedure. I asked the Dentist to please tell me what the tools were for/what she was doing as the filling was being done and was told nothing. Everyone was polite no rudeness at all, but I can't say I was treated with any kind of personal touch or consideration. Perhaps my expectations were too high. This experience won't prevent me from going back, but it's not one that makes me want to recommend them. For anyone who is familiar with dental procedures this may not be a deterrent.

Highly recommend this office for any dental work! I came to them as a new patient, and not being to a dentist in years due to anxiety/bad experiences in the past from other Dentists, they treat me as if I've been there for my hole life. All the ladies upfront are friendly and helpful and Dr. Gillis is AMAZING. Even though he is always swamped he makes a point to set it all aside and focus on what you are there for. No matter how big or small your concern is, they make you feel well taken care of. Not having added anxiety about my dentist visits makes life easier during these tough times. Keep up the great work guys! It is so nice to actually look forward to coming in for appointments!

I’m in my 70s and have had many dentists in my life. Dr. Gillis is the best I ever had. He’s done cleanings, root canals, crowns and implants for me and my wife. All excellent service.

What a " Great Experience" Our family recently moved to Kingston. We were looking for a dental office that would offer services for both children and adults. The office was very accommodating, kind and courteous to guide us through the process of becoming patients. The dentist and staff were all very knowledgeable and took the time to answer any questions we had. I highly recommend this office to anyone

I went to this dentist since I was a child. I called to make an appointment and was turned away because the last appointment I had was too long ago. I thought it was illegal to be turned away from health care? Now I have to find a new dentist. The receptionist who turned me away was very rude as well. Didn't want to explain why just hung up on me. I will never go here again or recommend this place.
