Gillett Car Cleaning

I have found that staff are quite professional and quite informative. They are courteous and friendly. They made me feel quite at ease with everything. Thanks to all staff.

Glen and the young ladies on staff at Gillett did a fantastic job detailing my vehicle and it was also a great customer experience. The staff is friendly, courteous and very thorough with their service. When my vehicle went in, it was pretty gross after 2 years of neglect! I did not think it could look (or smell) as great as it does now. I chose Gillett above many others in Oshawa because they are an established business (about 13 years), have a solid internet presence which underscores the company's credibility, and have a lot of involvement in charitable events in the community. I was not disappointed with my choice and would recommend this business.

Wish I knew about the place down the street! I paid $60 for an express cleaning, and what I got was almost as if they were in a rush to get it done. Dirty streaks down the side of my car. Random dirt marks inside the doors. Front window is gross. It's almost as if they used a dirty rag on everything and called it professional cleaning. Definitely will not go here again. Was not worth the amount of money they charge. And the girls in the back cleaning were all yelling like hooligans the whole time, I should have known.

Warning/Beware. last year I damaged my car. I went to a company called Gillett Car Cleaning (88 Bond St West, Oshawa) who said they can fix the paint but can't take out the dent. I was fine with that. Now less than a year later you can see all the rust and paint chipped away. I went back there today to get my money back and the owner Glen refused to reimburse me. Glen was the person who did this terrible job btw. You can even see the poor paint job (globs, not even blended and different color than my car). Very poor ethic and customer service.

What an awful experience. I gladly took my money back and went down the street and got my car cleaned. Avoid this place as at all costs and don't buy any gift certificates from them because the flaws in the certificate will not be honored. I will be sure to refer all that I know to a better place then this run down shop.
