Gifford's Flowers

Gifford's Flowers is the go to place for an amazing floral arrangement! Not only do they have amazing prices, but their customer service sets them apart from other local florists. They even provide same day shipping ($15), and will send pictures and delivery confirmation via text messages. I will definitely be coming back for any future floral purchases!

I sent an inquiry about flowers for my wedding, they quickly responded asking for pictures as to what I was looking for. I sent pictures and was told they would write me up a quote. A full week later I sent another email after not having heard back, reminding them that I was hoping to do business with them. It has now been over a month with no response. Due to my Healthcare schedule which requires overtime on top of 12-hour shifts, I am unable to communicate via phone, and I didn't want to make the 80 mile drive to Portland until I knew what the numbers would look like. Unfortunately I had to take my business elsewhere.

I've used Gifford's for the past 10 years since I work downtown. I have always had a great experience and more than willing to pay the higher dollar for their work. Sadly I have to say the service has declined over the past year. I'm not a florist, and greatly depend on their designing expertise and recommendations. However the last 3 times I have gone in, the recommendations, creative problem solving seems to be gone. Time to move on .....

Giffords Flowers was a floral life saver! We were referred to their business from our wedding coordinator and they did not disappoint. We had already booked a florist but did not learn until later on that they could not deliver the items to the venue and we actually had to pick up the flowers the night before. Since my husband and I were coming from out of state with limited assistance, this was not going to work well for us. Giffords Flowers was able to price match, deliver, setup, and even provided tips and suggestions for the selection of arrangements. Laura helped us to pick flowers that would work within our budget and be as close to the pictures we provided as possible. She even helped to steer us away from choices that had too much pollen and could stain our clothing. They were super affordable, helpful, and compassionate of our situation. I would definitely recommend them!

I worked with Laura on several weddings last year and the flowers were gorgeous and exactly what my clients wanted! I felt that the prices were very reasonable and competitive compared to what else is out there. The shop is beautiful too and I always love passing by their cheerful display downtown.
