I think it’s time they invest in someone younger to work the front as a cashier WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE and someone that doesn’t hate their lives. This store lacks customer service and polite people. The people working floor are more approachable than the ones working the register.nnThe two older ladies, especially the one with short hair and glasses are rude and every time me or my family are served by them it’s always an unpleasant experience. It’s not just once where I came to cash and I leave with my day being ruined from their attitude.nnNot only have they’ve been rude to me. But I’ve seen them being rude and lacking customer service skills to other customers as well.

Barely helped by staff saying should be around here pointing in a direction across the store. Self checkout gave me good and fast service tho

Needed to pick a few things up for dinner and snacks for the kids. I figured hey, Giant Tiger is close and is supposed to be cheaper than the grocery stores. I was wrong... Not only was it quite a bit more expensive, but the shelves, where their deals were supposed to be on sale were empty. This seems to be a trend every time I go to this store. I tried asking an employee if they had any 14% sour cream in the back. I was immediately told that if it's not on the shelf, we are out. So, I pick up what I can and head to the cash. The lady at the cash was very friendly and quick. It was the insane amount only a few items cost! Less than 10 items, which were all on sale, still ended up costing $45. Prices have obviously tripled because I used to shop at this location all the time. Honestly, I won't be returning anytime soon. At least until they drop prices for no name product's and stock their shelves.

This is a small, outdated location and the staff are not accommodating to requests of any kind. In fact, they seem to be on a power trip at times by being impatient with accessibility requests. A few times I purchased frozen items that had clearly full defrosted in the packaging and been refrozen including chicken pot pie, hashbrowns and tater tots. This is sometimes the only option in town for things like kids shoes, so it is difficult to avoid going, but if you are used to one like the Pembroke location, you will experience disappointment and probably rudeness if you seek out a staff member to inquire. I hope the location and team are updated in the near future. For now I avoid meats, dairy and frozen food from this location. When something rings up the wrong price at the register, I don't bother inquiring anymore because they will not correct it. This is one of 2 one star reviews I have ever left a business, so I don't consider myself a difficult customer. Kanata location is preferred, unfortunately, since it is always nice to support local.

They always have something I need, whether it's fuzzy socks or steak for dinner. This little store gives us the alternative of doing a grocery trip without having to go to the big grocers. They also always have available self checkouts in case waiting isn't your thing.
