Shoppers Drug Mart

I had an awful experience today with a middle aged cashier at the main entrance. I would have 0 star if I could. Today I was doing a return and politely asked for a receipt of the return. While she refused to do that at first, then I asked again. She asked me to wait until she cashed the rest of a long line, because “ I needed to get my supervisor to print it for you”. After I waited aside for 20+ minutes, she printed the receipt, didn’t need to get the supervisor. And when she gave it to me, she rolled her eyes directly at me, and said “it’s really unnecessary to have a receipt.” I felt so awful and awkward in front of people. I lost all my respect to her because how I was treated.

Do not go to this location for your prescriptions. We have been patient with them for 6+ months but have had to close the door with them today. Repeatedly, they have been unable to fill Rx's within the time they provided to us. My last Rx experience went through repeated misplaced paperwork and became a blame game between them and the Dr office. 2 weeks to get a Rx filled to no avail. Will be trying Rexall next.

This is a very busy pharmacy...sometimes too busy. But the staff are trying their best. Especially Andrew who is super kind and attentive!

Rhoda from cosmetics was wonderful today. I think she spotted me overwhelmed in front of a million options, and she helped guide me through the different make-up items, helped pick out colours that would work best for me, and sort out the best options for my event. Thanks so much!

Terrible experience have been to shoppers many many times with no problems I understand every company wants to make sure nothing is stolen but to follow your customers pretending your working while they shop is unacceptable! mind I was wearing a school bag! And then when ask to talk to a supervisor or manager about the situation outside and all employees come outside acting like there's a fight very childish and then when I explained the situation they obviously didn't see a problem with 3 of there employees following me around the store! Lots of other stores to use other then this...not to mention the pharmacy is still slower then ever waiting 25 mins for them to get a prescription ready when it should have been ready the day before

If you can avoid this place for your prescriptions I would highly suggest it! Consistently inconsistent and always “behind”. Personally have two prescriptions with refills, I set up the auto text so I would get a notification when they’re ready. When I arrive I’m typically told “oh they’re not quite ready we’ll need an hour or two”. If you want to make multiple trips then this is the place for you.

Awful experience at the pharmacy. Had a minor surgery and dropped off a prescription. They said it would be ready in the afternoon. Went in to pick it up and they said it wouldnt be ready until the next day. Explained that I needed it for after surgery and they said they would put a rush on it and call me but I'm still waiting. Never have I waited so long for a prescription at any other shoppers and they didn't even seem busy when I went in either time.

My daughter who is two weeks away from her due date with her 2nd child has been trying to get Enfamil for her 10 month old. She lives near Renfrew and there was none near her. I started calling stores for her as I didn’t want her stressed or driving all over looking for some. I spoke to a gentleman at this store this afternoon and he was quite rude and abrupt with me. I was trying to tell him what I needed and he said he was going to tell me what they had. He left me on hold for quite a while and then confirmed he had the one she needed. She got in her car as pregnant as she is and took her young son for the 1/2 hour drive only to discover the person answering call obviously never even checked. I live in the GTA and called my local store and not only could they confirm they didn’t have any they also told me the distribution center had none. Very disappointed with the gentleman who even though I explained my daughters very pregnant status and her having to bring her young son and travel this distance that he couldn’t have been bothered to even check. Very sad. This caused her much unnecessary stress. I hope he’s proud of himself A concerned Grandmother

I was continually put on hold by the pharmacy, and then the call was ended. I am not the first one to have this complaint.

I’ve been to so many shoppers in the gta and they’re far busier than this one could ever be but in the gta they always had it done on time and would always send a text notification to let me know that my prescription is ready. This shoppers always have terrible service in pharmacy with poor excuses; such as our fax machine isn’t working wellthen get a new one or we’re too busy that’s why we don’t receive your prescription too busy? I don’t believe that for a second. I’ll take my business to a different shoppers and hope for the best, I’m shocked how poor the pharmacy service is here.
