Giant Tiger

Unacceptably filthy and unhygienic.nnMy recent visit to the Giant Tiger in Gravenhurst was very disappointing. The condition of the store’s only public washroom was absolutely unacceptable. After waiting with a toddler who was desperate to use the bathroom, we had to ring the bell twice and wait for a staff member to unlock the door.nnOnce inside, the bathroom was shockingly filthy, with what appeared to be dried blood on the floor and overall unsanitary conditions.nnTo make matters worse, the change room was also in poor condition—dirty and neglected. I honestly felt uncomfortable and unhygienic just being in the store.nnThis location desperately needs attention. Cleanliness and customer care should not be an afterthought, especially when families and children are shopping in here.

I wish the store would be bigger, so it would not be so crammed. It's quite difficult to work yourself through the cloths department, but is next to impossible, when you have to share the space with others. The grocery department has grown over the years, and and makes a good alternative for the basics, as local grocery chains are on the expensive side. The curtain department is really worth getting checked out, if you want affordable drapes. The seasonal department could be larger.nThe checkout really sucks and gives plenty of reasons to get upset, but not just with the store, but also with other customers.

Love this store. I went to look for some tigers and ended up with $1.49 blue berries, a bath mat, and a cinnamon scented candle. My wife was upset that i didnt bring home a tiger, but was excited by the excellent value and prices of everything else. I will be back as soon as i pass through again. Who would want to shop at Walmart when you got this gem of a place!!! 7.5 stars if i could.

Good selection of cheap items. As you'd expect. Hours not accurate tho.
