Dimitri took time assessing issues that I had with my back, shoulder and wrist. He demonstrated his skills by methodically running through various stretches in order to isolate the root cause of the issues I had. From there Dimitri gradually helped me put together a routine of stretching that over time has helped me start the healing process. I know that without Dimitri ‘s help I would not be o the road towards feeling better.

I’ve had a very positive experience with Duc and the McKenzie method at Get Fit Physio on Decelles. Three months ago I was hospitalized for six days with a herniated lumbar disc that was putting pressure on my sciatic nerve, and was advised by my physiatrist to see a physiotherapist specialized in the McKenzie method. Following Duc’s assessment and assignment of specific exercises, I was soon able to walk without pain, comfortably take public transit and, eventually return to work, and resume a regular exercise regimen. Improvement has been steady as I gradually regain strength and mobility under Duc’s expert guidance. I think what I’ve appreciated the most about my experience here and with this type of physio that I had previously never heard of, is that the power of recovery has been placed in my hands; although I rely on the physiotherapist’s advice and instruction, I’m confident that I can now relieve my pain by doing my exercises and that I will be able to enjoy all the activities I did before this major episode.
