WOW!!! Being an Arab myself from the Middle East, I know what the authentic taste of so many dishes should be and this restaurant is for sure delivering the authentic taste for everything. The chicken shawarma is so fresh and marinated with the right spices wrapped in a delicate saj bread. The presentation of the dish is savoury yet gives you that feeling that this food was prepared by a family member with love. The falafel are so good, it's very rare to find a restaurant that knows how to make falafel. This one knows what they are doing, though I would suggest they serve the falafel plate with a side plate of bread so one would enjoy assembling their own wrap.nI'm glad we decided to try Georgies during our visit and I encourage everyone who visits the city to come by and try the food.nThe complimentary tea is so good, it have a cinnamon flavour.nSo proud of you guys.
Travelled from Vancouver to see family in the Sault and was told I had to visit this spot for the best shawarma and it was amazing. The bread was fresh and the hummus dip is an absolute must. So good. We will be back!
Great for authentic Syrian fare. As a seasoned traveler and confirmed food lover I have to say this was the best Baklava I've ever had. I tried to order some to go after my meal but they had sold out and were making more. All food is fresh and made to order. A nice hidden gem in Sault Ste Marie.
This is my absolute favourite restaurant in the Soo! I’m moving in a couple of days and had to have the falafel wrap and best hummus one more time!nI will miss you Georgie’s!
WOW. Super glad I found this little gem. It might be the best damn shawarma I have ever had in Canada. I got the traditional and was originally thinking that $15+ tax was a bit pricey for the Soo. But it's like a foot long and packed with meat. I could only eat half lol.nnA colleague got the falahel plate and it was amazing as well.nnHighly recommend
