My son bipolar disorder and they have been wonderful. He is learning things I think are past his age group. (Decimals and 1000 chains in kindergarten). I don't know where he would be without them.I was worried about the area it was located, but my fears have been put to rest. Their hands on learning approach is right on point with the changing times.

I went here a few years ago, And it is because of this school that now I am Homeschooled.
Out of the whole school, There was only one teacher I liked.
Also, One of the gym teachers got fired for beating a student with volly balls becasue the poor kid could not catch the balls.
Also It is not really fair. If one kids acts up, They all have to sit out.
NOTE: This was a few years back when I went here I do not have any idea what it is now.

G.W. was a great experience for me growing up. The faculty was great. I must say, J.W. Bailey and K.H.S. didn't do much in terms of my development--- and if it weren't for starting out at G.W., I wouldn't be what I am today. I'm a mentor, a college graduate, and working toward my masters degree in Urban Planning. Soon enough I will be completing my Ph.D. and I owe much of it to my teachers at G.W. who always believed in me from the very beginning even though I grew up on the worst part of Franklin Street -- they taught me I could make a difference and be somebody though others cast doubt on the neighborhood and the people within it.
