Gentile is not inexpensive, but it is consistently good and service is always spot on. You will not be disappointed and their cocktails are always fantastic. Food is fresh and flavourful, and off menu evening specials always on point.
I’ve had arancini in many different forms, but this place’s cacio e pepe arancini are absolute flavour bombs. Perfect size and crisp. Pizza is great as well. If you like chocolate coconut cream pie their version is very fresh. But honestly, more than anything I loved the decor and vibe of the place. 90’s - 2000’s hip hop, rocky balboa framed pictures, mood lighting and our servers were 10/10. I didn’t catch her name but you with the boyfriend jeans and hoop earrings from Saturday night I appreciate you! Oh and the Aperol Sour… pfft delicious
What a great vibe with delicious food! From the calamari app, to the pistachio pizza to the coconut nutella dessert, the food was excellent! We had great service from our waiter Jack, who really made the entire night special. The music is on point, a really relaxed atmosphere with an unpretentious vibe. I highly recommend this spot for your next night out!! Thank you Gentile Pizza Parlour
Excellent pizza and friendly service.. square slices were pure Sicilian nostalgia, it’s a fantastic restaurant experience
Went for last min dinner on vday since this was only place that had available reservations. I'll start with the cons: 1 all the food was COLD! Arancini, pizza, pasta were all just barely warm which really took away from it. 2 the cocktails were very meh, we tried 2 and didn't finish either. 3 for what it was, very expensive. 150$ for two people, we shared 3 dishes and 1 dessert and 2 drinks, plus this place is very diner vibes nothing fancy but feel like we paid for a nicer place than we got pros: food itself was very yummy, other than the temperature no complaints about the dishes. our waitress, young blonde girl, was super sweet and helpful.
Maybe it wasnt a good night. 3 apetizers, 3 dishes, 3 cocktails the wine list is very ordinary and everything is way too bland for the price. No salt anywhere, boxed pasta with barely any sauce, a ceasar thats just a few chunks of lettuce, cacio e pepe with no pepper, wet fries and "slow roasted" tomatoes that taste boiled. For the drinks, too sweet and diluted to be worth 14$ minimum. Silver lining : their pizza is actually good and the service is very attentive and friendly. Again, maybe it wasnt a good night but for us the experience was underwhelming.
Reply to management: This was Saturday December 3rd between 6:30 and 7:30 PM. FYI, classic rock is mixed in a way to make it sound more dynamic on the radio. It's the worst choice in an environment where people want to have conversations. Good food, excellent server, but way too noisy. Whoever chooses the music and its volume should be duct taped to a chair and forced to listen to bad opera until they beg for mercy.
Decent food. Great service. Nice lively vibe and ambiance.Food: 4/5
Really tasty! Love the reheat directions a sign of the times and that they actually work to perfectly heat the pizza without making it feel recooked. I find it a smidge on the pricey side but it’s very good. Can’t wait to try some of the delicious sounding appetizers and sides.
Pizza was very good albeit very pricy. However, ordered a caesar salad to go with the pizza and the portion was embarrassingly small for $16 and quite frankly, was one of the most mediocre salads I've had. Definitely felt ripped off overall.
