One of downtown Madison's most characterful bars. Very good drinks, solid beer list - many great memories at Genna's.
Nice little bar downtown. The happy hour deals are are really nice and they have some free apatizer type food during happy hour. They have a nice patio on the corner of the square.
im definitely of age, but the service never fails to give me funny looks here, and once an absolutely trashed bouncer tried to turn me away when i was 22
Always love Genna's, and very happy to see them open...at least until the cold comes...
Great drinks and friendly bartender
I was politely waiting at the bar for about 5 minutes for a drink when the bartender walked by me, he rudely told me I have to move, I wasn’t in his way, and he should never talk to someone like he did. clearly I left and will never be back. Wes was his name
Best happy hour on the square. Drinks are good and cheap, bartenders are super attentive, and they give free apps/munchies with happy hour.
Good beer options. Comfortable seating area. I wish the touch tunes music was a little louder so I could hear it
I live close to this place.. I want to start going here more. Very European and chill spot. Decent old fashioned
I love the spicy Bloody Mary's and all the different types of garnish you can choose from.
