Dr Gelbke, is truly the future of medicine. The time and care and absolute artistry he puts into his work, and his staff that guide and help you through any procedure is amazing. You know from the very first time you meet with him and discuss your care, he is a caring man that walks you through all your options and provides the finest care you will experience. My experience with him and his staff have left me with not enough well thought out words to express my gratitude and awe, with the doctor himself, he's truly a man of vision, and I am thankful to have met him and had him in charge of my care

Dr. Gelbke is the kindest, most caring surgeon I have ever met. Through four surgeries on my knee that I had a tibia plateau fracture of, as well as a ruptured patellar tendon in 2018, he has always worked towards what is best for me. I recommend him to people all the time, even if they don't need him yet!

Post recent knee surgery, at six weeks, I required a knee manipulation which most probably was caused by my not being diligent enough with home therapy, though Dr. Gelbke would not lay blame one any one thing. I was not the least pleased with having to commit to this procedure but it has made a wonderful improvement in flexibility and my attitude. Luckily procedure did not prove to be the painful couple of days recover anticipated but knee was substantially improved and less painful just the day after manipulation. I am extremely grateful for Dr. Gelbke's knowledge and skill. I am now motivated to press ahead with my complete recovery with a great deal more enthusiasm.

I am privileged to present myself as a shining example of Dr. Gelbke's exceptional surgical skills. First, I must point out that I'm not a kid. I'm a 72-year-old woman. How bad was my knee?? Bending just a little to the right, caused my 'knee' pop out of place. The pain was excruciating. It's fair to say that my knee had moved beyond degeneration to disintegration. On Dec. 2, 2020, Dr. Gelbke performed a full knee replacement which included recapping my kneecap, implanting a rod into my shinbone, and installing an assortment of other 'baubles'. Just four months later, on March 20, 2021, I stood up and did a little tap dance for him as he entered the examining room. Yeah. It hurts like h*** for a couple of days. Not Dr. Gelbke's fault! Ya' gotta expect that having your leg surgically disassembled, having old parts removed, and having new ones embedded -- well, that gonna' hurt a bit -- but, not for long. After a couple of days, it's way better. Do what you're supposed to and recovery moves along rapidly. Then comes the day when you realize that the pain of the surgery has gone, and the old one hasn't come back! That's thanks to Dr. Gelbke's blessed gifts. Thank you, Dr. Gelbke!
