GAT Guns has one of the largest selection of handguns in the midwest. We have 62 ranges and two large classrooms.

Story

Gat Guns located in East Dundee, offers an amazing selection of guns. Our collection includes a variety of handguns, rifles, shot guns, used firearms and much more. We carry all the top brands including Beretta, Sig, Ruger, H&K, Glock, Smith & Wesson, Remington and Browning. Our staff is knowledgeable, professional and ready to help you find the perfect firearm. You can also sign up online for our classes at www.gatguns.com. We now offer conceal carry classes. We do live scan fingerprinting the same day as the class. We also process foid card applications. We have a large knife dept. as well as scopes, range bags, safes, concealed carry purses, ammo, and accessories.



GAT Guns is one of the largest firearm stores in the country, with over 5,500 guns in stock at any time. We have one of the largest selection of Handguns, Rifles, Shotguns and Accessories in Illinois. We have over 200 rental guns to try and a gunsmith on the premise.

The first time I walked in to just get another opinion on a firearm I was considering (was not looking to actually purchase yet) . Dan approached us with so much knowledge and such a friendly attitude. He made sure we knew there was a different gun same style and caliber same price coming out in the next week or so. I was blown away by the customer service I received the first time walking in I decided to purchase a firearm. Definitely recommend to a friend. 5 star to Dan

1 star for selection. If you believe that MSRP is the ideal price for a gun, then this is the place. The range is nice, but if you're there with a friend, you and the friend pay a range fee even if you're on the same range. It's a rip off. Shop here for a gun and buy it online. Small shops are supposed to offer more service for more money, this place offers nothing but selection.

One of the best gun stores/ranges out there. Some of the prices are more than other stores but not too much more. The ranges are nice and the employees are very kind and know their facts. This place is awesome.

So i was going here for about a couple years before I Blacklisted them. First reason, they wouldn't refund cash on a item bought with cash. Supposedly they don't give cash refunds, which would of been great to know before I spent $200 on something. The cashier should tell everyone that pays with cash, that you'll never see those bills ever again. They do offer store credit through. Second reason is their pistol and rifle range is in bad condition The ventilation is poor compared to other places I've been. The machines that sends the targets out and brings them back is messed up on ALOT of lanes. They also charge $30 to shoot at the 75 yard rifle. Way to expensive, because they kick you out after an hour. Place was empty by the way, we were the only ones in there. Employee was extremely rude last time we went, and that was the last straw. This used to be my go-to for range and all gun stuff. Not any more. Other places to go to that are closer to me, with staff not so rude, and normal rules for product return. **Update for response from gat guns owner. Actually you didn't make an exception. You gave me store credit after pointing out your policy, not a check. I Didn't feel like arguing with you guys over a couple hundred bucks. Not sure where your signs are posted now ( haven't been there for a while), but there should be a huge sign by the register written in bright red so everyone sees it. Very shady if you ask me to not make it totally clear and transparent what your return Policy is at time of purchase!! That's why you guys suck!!!

Fantastic selection, awesome ranges. I handle here and buy somewhere else where pricing is better and other places have deals on range time. I've been dealing with Greg since he was located in Streamwood... still don't think very highly of him. Did I mention a fantastic selection to handle!
