Top notch shop. Dropped off a bow that my uncle gave me for a tune up / replace my strings. Mike helped me through the process and gave me great suggestions / explanation of my equipment. Picked it up yesterday and Pete helped set me up. Absolutely went above and beyond answering all my questions and is incredibly knowledgeable. He took his time and gave me really helpful advice. As a new bow hunter I really appreciated that. Pete set me up at the range and I ran into Chris who also had a bunch of awesome advice. Definitely got me more consistent in shooting. Overall awesome experience! Will 100% be coming back & referring my friends over! Thanks guys!
I brought in my bow to get properly setup for my specs and working with Pete was fantastic. I brought in a sight that wasn’t compatible for my bow and Pete was patient and helpful in making sure I got the proper pieces without needing to buy a complete new sight altogether which I was ready to do. For as long as I am in the Chicago area I will be a customer of Fox Valley and it will always be my first stop with any archery related questions/concerns!
This year my kids and I received bows for Christmas and found this range to use them at. It's a clean and organized place to go with great customer service! I was impressed with the quality of bows and the knowledge of the owner and ended up purchasing my wife a bow from here. The owner was able to set it up before I left so that I could give it to her as a gift that day. The cost to use the range is extremely affordable.
First experience with these guys was 5 stars. Walked in the store last year, was fitted into a bow and everything was great and above expectations. A month ago I had this same bow tuned and I picked it up from them with 5 loose screws! And it shot 3 feet high at 20 yards! Will not be going back.
I’ve been going to Fox Valley Archery for quite a few years. Pete and the staff are very knowledgeable and these are the only guys I let touch my bow. I have had bad experiences with other bow shops in my area but these guys are top notch. Highly recommend!
I purchased a Mission bow from Fox Valley. I cannot go on enough about how amazing everyone there was to me. Patient, knowledgeable, understanding. Just great people to do business with. They got a customer for life in me.
The best. I went to Fox Valley Archery for the first time in 2015 after several disappointing trips to other local archery shops, Cabela's, Bass Pro shops and a very disappointing experience with the online archery world. I now refuse to go anywhere else... for a reason. Pete owner and his staff are great with everyone who walks through the door, regardless of age or experience. Ive seen them work with kids looking to try it out for the first time all the way up to retired folks who need a fun and engaging hobby. Pete knows archery better than I know the back of my own hand. He patiently listens to my millions of questions and makes suggestions, rather than "selling" me on his vast selection of products. Great prices, big indoor range, bow and accessory rental and anything you could ask for when it comes to quality meets affordable. No need to haggle. Don't bother shopping around. Just tell the guy your favorite color, price range and what you're looking to get out of shooting a bow. He will take care of the rest.
Needed a set up quickly. Very accommodating, set up, sighted, and OTD in less than an hour. Nice place, while waiting saw them set up a new female archer and did it in a very kind and non-intimidating way.
Service! Top notch!! Just bought my second bow from them and couldn't be happier once again! From sale to setup to fine tuning, I couldn't have asked for more. Between my wife, daughter, and I they've serviced 5 bows for us with never one issue. Always nice to see a range that makes the women and children feel at home and doesn't just focus on the men. My bows, arrows, accessories, and all the service and maintenance they require will come from no one but Fox Valley Archery! Thanks guys!
Pete and team at Fox Valley Archery are great! I stopped in to purchase bows for myself and two of my boys. They spent a lot of time with us, explaining various aspects of archery and the associated equipment. They made sure we were comfortable with our bows, and helped get us started on the indoor range. Definitely a great experience.
