Horrible i ordered the jerk chicken and it tasted like roast beef. The rice was not rice and peas, it was white rice with peas. Not authentic jamaican food in any way. Will never eat from here again.
Great place, lots of food for a good price, especially if you grab the large size. Chicken was very good and fresh and the rice was solid. The place doesn't look like much but that's not important - the food is. If you are looking for good jerk in Whitby, check this place out. This is my new spot for Jerk going forward. Give it a try!
I ordered take out for the first time and once received the rice had a horrible odour. I think it has been sitting there all day, maybe even for a couple days. The jerk chicken did not taste good either. Very disappointed and will not be ordering from here again.
Amazing service. Very friendly. Food was AMAZING. Ordered 4 different meals and each one was great. Kids LOVED the fried chicken and BBQ chicken. The man allowed my children to share a large dinner with 2 different types of chicken. Our new jerk and curry spot.
I ordered potato and Chana roti but received chicken roti and tried to call their number and it is out of service! This was the number posted on both their website and on google. Since I am not vegetarian I decided to give the chicken roti a try and it was very dry meat While the second order, of jerk chicken, was good the pepper sauce was more like water with oil and chilli flakes. The first time we had ordered from this place was very good but after this order second time I doubt we will be ordering again.
The food was amazing , and the service was super friendly . Don't listen to the nevative feedback given. Jerk chicken was fall off the bone and delicious. The rice was delicious. If I could rate this higher I would hands down.
I ordered BBQ chicken with rice and peas. Was not satisfied with the pieces of chicken I received, very boney and barely any meat. Probably wont be ordering again. I gave 3 stars because the meat I did have was pretty tasty.
Ordered the vegetarian option with is rice and peas paired with vegetables dish, and received steamed rice and peas with steamed vegetables. I thought for a minute i was in the hispital. The coleslaw is too sour, i dont know if its the juice or it is going bad. I will never going back to this place. Makes me wonder why it is still open.
This food was terrible. Anyone that knows real Jamaican food would agree the jerk chicken wasn't even jerked. Just a little jerk sauce on top and baked, no salt and not cooked properly. Clearly this isn't a Jamaican owned establishment and the reviews here saying the food is good are very questionable. Thank
Honestly purchased food here today for the first and LAST TIME and boy oh boy was that a bad choice to make. First off to damn pricy for the items there selling and it don’t even taste good nor right, the rice smelled AND tasted weird NOTHING like REAL JAMAICAN FLAVORs. I’m shocked to see the manager tell ppl it’s thee talk of the area nsaaaaaah STOP THE LIES PLZ. It looks like it would prob taste good but as soon as u take ur first bite trust me ur gonna want ur money back.
