Amazing food and one of the best Japanese food I have ever tried. You can experience a perfect combination of future design and traditional taste. The owner delivered exceptional customer service. Their grand open is Sunday, July 10. Come and check it out!

Was there on the first day of soft opening, wasn’t expected much to begin with, but it turned out this will be my favorite Japanese restaurant in Richmond, good service, good food, nice presentation, just like piece of art.

Coming from SF Bay Area, we had a chance to dine in Ganbei Izakaya. Such a wonderful experience. Food is incredibly good and 100% Instagrammable. Service is amazing. Staff are super friendly and very accommodating. Price is extremely reasonable. We stay here for a week but plan to go again before leaving Vancouver!

One of the best Japanese fusion places I've been to. Staff are friendly and attentive and the food was amazing! The Black & White Sushi Roll was killer! This is a great place for Izakaya style eats & drinks. Can't wait to go back and try more items.

The seafood is fresh and quality is excellent along with the service. If you came here thinking it's a fast food joint expecting a meal in under 5 minutes please goto McDonalds and eat that instead. Save space for paying customers that appreciate quality.

Decided to try this Japanese restaurant during their soft opening and was very impressed! Their Ganbei Omakase was a good sampling of items. We ordered sashimi as well as their special sushi rolls. The seafood was fresh, presentation was beautiful and service was friendly and attentive. Looking forward to going again to try more of their menu.

Not your typical sushi restaurant but that's what I was looking for. Pork belly Robatawas amazing. Very juicy and flavorful. My kids couldn't get enough of their special roll. The black and white and firecrackers were a favorite. Excellent service . Never had to ask for a refill of tea or water. Will definitely be back to try other items on their menu.

We try this place first time today!! The server and owner were amazing!! The food and sashimi were so fresh!! They are so friendly!! I recommend this place and try here!!!

It’s as if Guu and Hapa Izakaya had a child and moved to Richmond. Great food, friendly service. We went during dj night the whole restaurant was bumping. Absolutely loved the angus beef dish we hope it becomes a permanent edition!

The food is so good!! Try the Toro Carpaccio - best toro I've had. Cool environment and service was A+
