1. I have never written hair salon reviews and wouldn’t do that if it were not the situation known to a lot of us. I am sure that you could hear a constant refrain among women: "I hate my hair" and "Yours is so pretty; I wish I had your hair." I was one of those who wanted to have good hair and was always looking for a good hairstylist, great color, cut and style. I’ve had to become accustomed to dealing with various hair stylists, but every time I left the salon, I was looking very unhappy. I was hesitant to try someone else. Did I have unrealistic expectations? Did I need better Experience on how to style it myself? I tried to color it myself, I experimented a lot with colors and styles, I went from one color to another, damaging my hair by applying bleach. It was the real abuse to my hair, as a result, - I damaged it and I needed professional help. It took me time, but I finally found my HAIR GURU! I heard about Galina’s Salon, her talent as a stylist but it took me more than 10 years to meet her (?) After so many experiments with my hair it turned frizzy and dry. I didn’t know what to expect. She listened to me and made her recommendations as to what she saw and what she could do to improve my hair. Galina worked with Hot Scissors and I was a little bit nervous about the result. She explained to me that Hot scissors haircut was essentially a repairing treatment for my hair. Sealed ends = Healthy hair. The heat seals the hair ends, the natural moisture and care substances were preserved. It was nice seeing someone who enjoys her job and wants to make sure that everything that is done is to expectations of the client. In the couple hours of me being at her salon I learned a lot about my hair and how to take care of it to make sure it always looks great. Once she was done I was extremely happy with the outcome. My color, cut and overall look was great. I was so happy to see my hair look so great and I loved everything that was done. It was important to give my hair the attention it needed in order to not feel like I hated it. Hair is such a powerful part of us, it can bring us up with confidence, or vice versa. We have to get to know our hair to be able to identify what will make us happy with it and give it the attention it needs. Galina recommended me the Treatment for hair. After 3 months of following her advice, I see a great change and difference of my hair.! Her salon super is clean, modern with gorgeous ocean view in North Vancouver. The time I spent there was a real treatment for me. I finished my visit with a cup of amazing coffee made by her! I’ve had a fantastic experience with Galina’s hair studio and highly recommend her to everyone. She didn’t just change my hair, she changed me!
