Gîte du Mont-Albert

Can't get any better. In the middle of one of the most scenic parks in Canada, hiking trails galore, 4 star hotel facilities with stellar food. Turns out you can have it all. No need to rough it up to enjoy nature.

This review is for the bar. As the restaurant was full, you need to book three days ahead for reservations. We ordered smoked salmon , shrimp skewers from the bar menu .par excellence ! Julien our server was more than happy to serve us also very informative.

Rooms are recently renovated, nice spaces. Wifi available, spotty in the room but worked well in the bar. The breakfast was decent. Buffet style with fruits, cereal, toast, meats, eggs, pancakes and French toast. The bar menu was okay, both good and drinks. The meal we ate at the bar was a good attempt but the poutine was dry and the nachos needed more time to bake. Great location for exploring the park.
