Went to this hotel to ascend Mount Albert. Our bedroom had two double beds. The city had a warning against using tap water but a supply of fresh water was provided. Breakfast was provided. Overall a good service and a pleasant time.

In an area of less than awesome hotels/motels...this is a spectacular find. Although there are hints of an older version of this hotel left in some areas you dont notice because of the high quality finishes and smart design! Completely overhauled and modernized. They didn't cheap out anywhere. Beds are incredible. Shower is fabulous with a Fleurco shower and thermostatic shower faucet. Nothing was forgotten. Best place I have stayed in the whole Gaspe area! Oh....and the restaurant is fabulous. ..not only is it quaint and beautifully designed. ..the service is impeccable. They constantly monitor the floor watching for peoples' needs. And they aim to please. The food... perfection. Price is a little on the more expensive end...but for the chef prepared meals the price is actually a steal. Many meals around $18-25. Be sure to make reservations as they strive to keep the amount of customers low for best service.

This review is based on the restaurant. Rated number one in the area, I had high hopes. I had the lobster meal the other night which was one of the worst lobster dinners I've ever had. I think the lobster was previously frozen then it was I'm guessing baked in the oven with bread crumbs soaked oil which was overpowering. I had the steak as well which was very tasty on the other hand. The only advice I can give you is maybe as if the seafood is fresh first if not just get something else!

Don't let the gravel parking lot fool you, the hotel is well maintained and the restaurant food is tasty. Great service.

Nice hotel considering the remote location! Quite modern and new looking, very clean, great professionnal staff. I had the pleasure to try the Gym, it's small but clean and effective with nice setup. The restaurant also offer great service, good food in a very pleasant atmosphere. Had the mushroom vegetarian penne and the smoked salmon pizza, both good. Not outstanding but very good. It was winter time with lot of snowmobiles guests but was not an issue at all. There is also free laundry room, quite nice after running by the sea! I did book another 5 nights for a later trip. Definitely recommend
