I had a great experience here, I was greeted immediately in the parking lot when I stopped to look at some cars with my fiancé. Brandon was professional, personable, and honest. Communication was constant and there was no pressure when I needed some time to think before making a decision… they provided service that was accommodating to us, and they worked hard to provide us with everything we wanted out of the experience. I am extremely happy with my purchase and I would recommend anyone to go check them out.
Don’t even go there those crook!!! They will stole your money we sign a contract and they we’re unable to stop the other payment on time we ended up paying 400$ on a car loan we shouldn’t have pay wow and also sold a scrap car that ended up need around 8k in repair during the 2 years of ownership.. STAY AWAY NEVER THINK ABOUT GOING THERE !! And by the way it was a 2012 purchase in 2015 they lie on the damage also from a previous repair…. Stay away never go there…
The worst experience I’ve ever had. They aren’t even worth one star. A very shady, unethical company. The financing department takes the cake. They have no problem asking for unjustified, unexplained extra money and then threatening to repo your vehicles if you don’t pay them. Pretty sketchy too, as to who they are really affiliated with. At least 3 Plymouth dealerships involved with each other and you can’t make sense of it when you need to. Whatever you do, don’t get involved with these people. You will regret it. I filed complaints against them with 3 different agencies including OMVIC. I suspect this dealership has screwed over a lot more people then just me. But in particular, the financing department is nothing but a bunch of crooks and will look for an excuse to repo your vehicles after you’ve had them long enough to nearly pay them off so they can resell them. And I was a return customer 3 times. They don’t care. Horrible company.
The used vehicles on the lot are massively overvalued. A truck worth $30k, will be advertised at this location for $36k. Since they are still in business, it just goes to show that there are enough stupid people to support this dealer.
I just traded in my Nissan Frontier at G. D. Coates and had the most enjoyable experience in purchasing my new vehicle. Gary Boucher was the salesperson that I dealt with. I have to say, I was lucky to have the opportunity to deal with him. He would not let me leave the lot until he went through every inch of my new vehicle and that I felt comfortable with this purchase. When I arrived, the car was ready, the paperwork was ready and Gary greeted me at the door. The detailing on my new vehicle was immaculate. Definitely a five star rating for the whole experience and if I could go higher I would. Thank you Gary and company!!!!!
Nothing but great thing to say about this Dealership. Gary was absolutely amazing in the sales department. Highly recommend him!!! Loving my Toyota Corolla. And today I had to take my car into service for a simple heat shield problem. They accommodated me so well from last minute booking to complimentary shuttle service and amazing customer service. Thank you again GD Coates for the amazing service!
avoid this service dept at all costs.... repeat, avoid this service dept at all costs..... just had work done, they did half a job, thy didn't tell us, that we required an alignment afterwards... when asked why they didn't do it, they said, w e cant do alignments so, they cant actually preform the entire service needed.. their attitude stinks, arrogant, condescending, and took no responsibility for their inability to perform the necessary work as they quoted.... "oh, i forgot to tell you about the alignment" side note, while walking through a doorway, an employee older man standing there holding the door open while talking to someone else, blurted out :your welcome" in an arrogant and ignorant voice.. this is the garbage this dealership is... they drive customers away....we lease our vehicles from klean auto leasing..., and always used the coates service for them... this dealership, coates, just DESTORYED A TEN YEAR BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP WITH THEIR ARROGANCE, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND IGNORANCE...the older man with the big mouth, just coast klean auto another 50k truck lease this late fall.. good job mr mouth... good job..... im sure klean auto will be happy that you used your arrogance to lose them another lease....now, explain to me how they a re able to approve my yellow commercial sticker with a truck that is almost undrivable because of not having an alignment. I'm sure the MTO will be interested....update..... the MTO went nd inspected this dealership. seems they a re not doing the proper paperwork for a yellow commercial inspection. they a re adding on a vehicle inspections as well, needlessly increasing my costs.... they also lied to the inspector, and i discovered they massively overcharged for a ford part...fords retail cost is, $125, i was charged $330 dollars for the same part...AGAIN..AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS.......
Absolutely amazing customer service. I went to G.D. Coates to purchase my first car, and the staff were able to help me find something that exceeded my expectations, within the price range I was looking for. I cannot say enough about the customer service here! I came all the way from Kingston because of the reputation, and I sure am glad I did.
A big thanks to our salesman Brandon Johnson. No pressure at all, work with what we needed. All the staff at both the sales and service are A Plus. Will definitely use again. Thanks again.
This dealership has gone downhill huge over the last multiple years. I've purchased 5 vehicles through them since 97, and the 6th vehicle didn't happen. And I'll never shop here again. Not only did it take over 2-1/2 weeks to prepare car for delivery, they went ahead and tried to hook me on huge monthly payments, and 'in house financing' at 9%, after we agreed 'no surprises' and to keep them affordable. I told them to stuff it.
