Fundae Sundaes

It is always refreshing to see a small business open, but to open during a global pandemic is especially exciting. Fundae features Perry ice cream, which is nice and creamy. The staff was especially friendly, especially Cheyenne , the owners granddaughter. She is a natural sales person, and who upsell you and you'll enjoy it. Good prices and they offer hot dogs, hamburgers and other foods. Definitely going back, if nothing other than to have orange pineapple ice cream!

5/7/21: We came for dinner and a scoop. They are celebrating both they're 6 month anniversary and Mother's day. $1 off pints and as usual the food is great. We both got the chicken finger basket which came with fries and a drink for $8.50 and you get 5 large planks of chicken. We ended dinner with a "single scoop" which fed me and my friend, flavor was something new to us both, Graham and cracker flavor with dark chocolate covered honeycomb candy. It was awesome. So my friend and I went in and gave this place a try. Seems like it's "family run" and family friendly. We ate dinner and shared a milkshake all for $21. We both got a combo, I got 2 dogs and fries & soda. My friend got a chicken tender basket with fries and a soda too. Fries were exceptional, fried crispy outside and soft and fluffy inside. Next time though, we'll know to only get one order of fries and just share them. For me, the dogs themselves are delicious as well. Their "conney sauce" was your basic homemade chili of a drier version. I think it was listed to be topped with cheese but I'm not a fan of cheese on chili dogs. What I really like... I mean, REALLY LIKE is a dog with extra mustard, preferably a good spicy mustard and onions and chili and a great slaw. But I lived in places where a good dog, could make a place known. We also got one of their milkshakes which came with those large straws perfect for a chunky milkshake. I got to choose the flavor, "pecan praline turtle." It was heavenly. Next time we'll ready to try the banana pudding milkshake. We will definitely go back and not just food but their delicious ice creams and this summer we will try their shaved ice as well. I might bring in my own flavoring, my concentrated, all natural with no chemical flavoring or colors. Perfect cause no added sugars.

This place is awesome!!! Friendly staff, great food, great ice cream. HIDDEN GEM!!!! Been here twice now and each time has been phenomenal and I'm not just saying this. Me and my daughter loves this place. MUST TRY THE HOT DOGS yummy!!! They have amazing fries too. Hot fresh delicious. The ICE CREAM IS DELICIOUS as well. Had the do-si-do girl scout cookie sundae yesterday and MY GOD!!! it was out of this world. Can't wait to go back. I would give it more stars if I could. Hopefully they keep the girl scout sundaes on the menu for awhile but I'm not counting on it so I'll be back there in a few days to try another one YUMMMMMM

Stopped by after a morning of estate sale treasure hunting with my niece and nephew. A charming place with whimsical decor. Service was friendly and fast ! Food delish! I will be returning soon!

family owned great food the ice cream is out of this check them out

I stopped in with my daughter yesterday and after visiting , I can already tell this place will be a family favorite! There was a variety of menu options for ice cream, shaved ice , and food. I have to say that their cheeseburgers are superb. We tried the shaved ice , as well as a brownie sundae. Their staff members are very welcoming, kind, and informative. They don’t rush you into a purchase. There are also photos on the wall of the finished products for you to know what you are getting. The place is also clean. I honestly don’t believe there was any flaws in our visit. Will definitely be going back !

Our family LOVES this place not only is the ice cream amazing...the family who owns and operates it is great too! One of our favorite ice cream places in Toledo and the meals are a good portion to price ratio with a good flavor. You are missing out if you haven't tried them yet.

I went here for the first time with my great aunt, and created a new mixture of ice cream that had never been ordered before. They let me name it what I wanted. They posted it on their Facebook page also. The staff was kind, welcoming, and friendly. I might have found my new favorite place for ice cream. If you haven’t gone, please go! Also try Joey’s Brownie Bomb! That’s what I created!

Super friendly staff, and tons of flavors to choose from. I love stopping in and getting a milkshake. You can even mix the flavors which is awesome. I recommend their toasted coconut and red velvet cake ice creams.

I had an amazing dinner at Fundae Sundaes yesterday, the burger was awesome and I chose 2 scoops of ice cream in a freshly made waffle bowl. Everything was top notch and I will definitely be back for more. Staff is very welcoming. A+
