Full House Renovations

We have been working with Full House since we bought our 1960s home in 2019. We have renovated our basement, office, kitchen, gym, and built an attached 700 square foot, 3 car garage with loft. Our experience with Full House has been exceptional. The in-house trades electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mill work, finishing and painting as well as their sub contractors, have always been respectful, professional, tidy, and conscientious that we were living in the house throughout renovations. The site foreman communicated regularly too keep us up to date on schedule and potential delays. Brenda, the interior designer worked extensively with us and was readily available to meet with us on site throughout all stages of our renovations, making thoughtful recommendations and renderings to help us visualize the concept. She made our ideas for our mid-century home become a reality. The professionalism and work ethic of all the Full House staff is a reflection on owner, Greg Pointe. He has tremendous integrity. He was thoughtful and honest about scope of the project and all expenses and helped us work within our budget while still delivering a finished project that exceeded our expectations! We recommend Full House without reservation and in fact, are already planning our next project.

As a client, I can tell you that we really appreciated that they do not take on too many projects at once, that they work in a defined area of the city, and that these things let them stick to their timelines for the projects that they take. This is the reno company you want. We had a great experience with them completing our renovation, which was a major overhaul of a larger home. They are all polite, efficient and know what they are doing. Having their own trades allows them to schedule seamlessly among projects so that the work kept moving. They called us in to discuss any major developments and kept us posted on progress. They stuck closely to their timelines and the budget, with the usual expectations that things come up in a major reno. Everyone needs to be realistic when you start - but we were done our house on time and within our expectations of the cost. No more than very minor glitches along the way, which they were keen to fix. Their philosophy was always that they would make it right, and they did. Highly recommended.

I am certainly not the type of person to write reviews; but, I need to say that I have used Greg, from Full House Renovations, for over 15 years at my home in Edmonton .  They have done many project types both small and large at my home dating back 15 years. Most recently March 2020 to July 2020 I did a major renovation consisting of moving walls, installing beams, complete kitchen renovation, major 5 bathroom renovation and blew the back out of the house making 2 more rooms. I was amazed they could get the entire LARGE renovation all 3 floors in just 5 months. That was a large project and from the initial meeting with Greg one of the owners and estimators to the final touch ups being done I was extremely happy with their process and their great workmanship. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail is truly amazing. I know a lot about construction, and I will admit that I am a very fussy and persnickety customer; however, they far exceeded my expectations for this large full home renovation that involved all 3 levels of my home and took just 5 months. Greg’s knowledge of renovations and construction is amazing, and he is an extremely pleasant and honest person to work with. All of the trades that work for Full House were really respectful of the fact my family was living in our home for most of this 2020 renovation. Over the past 15 years I have used Greg, from Full House Renovations, for everything from small cabinet additions, retile a bathroom, paint some rooms, building a new garage to our 2020 large renovation that they just completed. Over the past four years I have referred Greg, at Full House, to many of my friends and family who have been very happy with them.  Three of my neighbour’s have also used Full House in the past 2 years and they were also very happy. I compared Full Houses pricing for my recent major renovation, and they were very similarly priced to their competitors. 15 years ago I used Full House Renovations and this week I finally finished replacing all the work they did! Everything from the custom cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms to the electrical wiring on the main floor was done poorly and had to be replaced. I would recommend finding a different company to renovate your home.

From the first contact with Full House right up to the final walk through we were thrilled with the entire experience, we felt like partners through the entire project. The designers took the time to understand who we are and what we were looking for. They pushed our thinking leading to an amazing space. The workers treated the entire renovation like it was their own. They were transparent around upgrades, all costs, and the progress.
