Fryn' Pan Family Restaurant Yankton

Great food, affordable, quick and enjoyable. We found rhe restaurant through Google and loved what we had.nnBig menu, lots of options and the server was helpful in narrowing down. We ended up going with the ribs and chef salad. They were outstanding. The rins fell off the bone and were delicious.

The hubs and I were visiting Yankton for the Fourth of July weekend. We stopped here to grab a bite after the fireworks show. I ordered the Ham Scramble from the Senior menu which comes with toast, pancakes or muffin. I asked our server if they had sourdough and she said yes. Perfect! I’ll have sourdough toast please. When our bill arrived I noticed a .75 charge that said sourdough toast. I asked the server about this, since the menu clearly stated toast was included as a choice. She explained that she forgot to tell me, but they charge extra for sourdough…. WTH! No extra charge if I would or ordered cakes a muffin or wheat berry toast…. But order sourdough and they are slapping on a .75 charge. Seriously, this is craziness at its best and shows a total lack of common sense. On a positive note, our server was great and the food came out hot and tasty, but i just couldn’t get past the up-charge for the toast. Do better Frying Pan. If you have to charge extra for the color of my toast, maybe just don’t offer it at all.nOne more mention… The hubs ordered the Steak Tips which comes with a salad. We were told that because of the time after hours they could not make any salads, but they would take .60 off the bill. I’m pretty sure if we were to add a side salad to a meal during “normal hours” it would cost us more than .60. Either include the salad or deduct the true cost of a side, not just .60. It seems like there is a lot of weird shenanigans happening here that doesn’t apply at other Frying Pans we have visited.

Drove from out of town for a visit with a doctor decided wanted breakfast for lunch. We were seated promptly. The server was very nice. The food was quick to come out. It was great food my daughter. I and grandson really enjoyed the food and the whole experience with fryn' pan Restaurant. Will definitely return. Thank you!

Very nice layout, a classic Americana Diner feel..nIt reminds me of the Bonanza restaurant that used to be in Omaha..nnThe waitstaff are nice and knowledgeable, very friendly...nnThe steaks are hand cut, never frozen..nThey make a lot their dressings in house..nnSalad bar has fresh vegetables.. the ranch and blue cheese tast fantastic..nPotato salad and Mac salad are taste good..nnEntrees...nnI am having the cheese and meat lovers skilletnFinely diced meats, flavor was good, portion to price is fair.nnMy wife is trying the hot beef, one of her favorite dishes..nMeat was tender with good flavor, portion to price is very good...nnEverything was really good.nnOverall we are very pleased and it is a place that we would come back to.nnIf you found this review helpful, then you should follow my reviews...

Great food and great staff! I have food allergies and the waitress was very helpful and helped me find things I could eat. The food was very good also and there was minimal wait time, so I went back the next day also!!! :
