Need a quick bite and Frugals was the place to go. Drive thru had a little wait but nothing at long at all. Ordered the mushroom and swiss and a frugal burger and fries. Staff was friendly and polite. When you are looking for that burger, fry or shake urge, Frugals is the place to go.
First time at Frugals. We got the double cheeseburger combo and the cheese curds. Took it to a nearby park. The food was delicious and the park was very nice. We are it all before I could take a picture of the food. Also, the Staff was very courteous.
Went once it sucks & is way over priced for trash you get. Ordered online; gave them 15 min+ extra time after expected pick up time. Still had to stand at window for another 10+ minutes. Checked my order because I knew it would be messed up. Sure enough no fries in order. Ordered & paid a bunch for extra topping; made everything same with nothing extra. Then tried to give some coupons or something; like I'm ever coming back. Place is way overpriced; definitely not worth money. I'll never be back. Hopefully you close, so something worthwhile can move in!
I’ve only had Frugals maybe tree times now. I liked it the first time.. my only complaint was I asked for no salt on my fries & I swear there is has always been EXTRA salt on the fries. I will say the food is very salty. I decided go give Frugals another shot tonight and I still feel the same as before. This time, I got the big sky chicken sandwich.. When I took about my 4th bite into my sandwich I bit into a small bone!! I’m so grossed out.. ehhh
Had the Western Burger and Cheese Curds. Amazing Burger! The curds could have been from Wisconsin, they were that good. Will be back over and over!
Y'know, I'm a huge burger fanatic, and I'm pretty picky about fast food, but when the mood hits, Frugals is a pretty solid deal. From what I know, its not too terribly busy or crowded on Sunday night, mind you. I didnt have to wait in line long in comparison to last year when they were fairly new. Didnt have to wait longer than 5-7 minutes. For what its worth, not a bad deal.
Well just this past Sunday April 19, 2020 my wife and I finally got to eat at Frugals. At first I was a little skeptical when we pulled up to the drive thru and I saw the prices. But, after we got our meals I was shocked by how much you get to eat and the size of the burger! I'm a man of appetite and this meal even filled me up. The fries were at the right crisp, and warm. Just the right amount of salt. And the burger...WOW! The meat was juicy and mouth watering. It was so tasty, and I liked how the meat was tender and moist! The sauce was to die for, and the buns were perfect texture!! I will definitely go back. The cashier who took our order was very professional and polite! Hats off to the cooks! You definitely get what you pay for. Keep up the good work
Love frugals! I have now been to four different locations and they're all about the same. Which is good. Consistency in delivering delicious food is a big plus. Always friendly service. Patient while I figure out how many burgers my stomach can hold today and if I'll need that leftover for a midnight snack. Can't recommend this place enough and my only regret is that I didn't take pictures for this review! Scrumptious food pictures!!
Great food here, mostly have the halibut sandwich, nice to have the fish option and it’s good. Fry sauce is excellent and comes with a combo meal without you asking. Unlike other reviewers, the fries I’ve had have not been overly salty. I have got lukewarm fries, much better when they are fresh. Mushroom Swiss burger is very good.Easy in and out in the drive thru when they aren’t super busy and not real long waits in line. Wish there were more ice cream options like regular soft serve. Will always return.
My favorite place in town to get burgers and fries. Their prices have gone up but really the quality of the burgers is what makes me keep going back. I also really love their fry sauce.
