Frontiersman Motel

A One Week Holiday was booked this Summer. Clean Room. Attentive & Efficient Service. Many Amenities. Only slight disturbance was the relatively constant Transport Truck traffic throughout the day ... and into the night, since Highway 11 is close to the Motel. Any light sleeper might well have a problem; but not this traveller. Great respite-time while I visited relatives in town. Recommended!!

We arrived in the late evening on a Saturday July 8 2017. We were greeted very warmly... Service was second to none..... Rooms were very clean bed was very comfortable .. Price was amazing could not ask for more... thank you very much....

Pulled off the highway because Im not a fan of driving at night and a thunder storm rolled in. My girlfriend and I arrived at this motel and was greeted with friendly service. Great place to stay. Our room was clean and comfortable.

Beautiful historic building and property, run by a lovely family who have been great during several stays though the past couple months. Pet friendly, Cable, WiFi (Though only with the door open, Historic building = poor signal.) The WiFi really isn't a problem if you are there for the hiking/biking trails and the abandoned historical sights in the surrounding area. We also really enjoyed the large park/lake area directly behind the building, overall the rooms are cute and clean for a great price.

Lovely town, has a great staff and awesome owner. Motel was a very pleasent experience. local food was nice and great service from the gas station.
