Wonderful menu and lovely cocktails. A great place for a date,catching up with friends or coworkers after a long day. Appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, salads as well as dinner plates and flatbread pizzas. Not the standard “chain” menu options but dishes with interesting and tasty flare.
Last Night, the husband really wanted to try the B & I Bar, but by the time we got them, we had no idea that their kitchen stopped taking orders 2 hours before Close on Sundays. One of the waitstaff personally suggested dining at Front 43 Neighborhood Pub, since their hours are late for a Sunday. After looking at their menu, we were intrigued and drove over. Besides, for me, one CAN'T go wrong with Sushi Sunday - thx for the tip, awesome waitperson!! Once there, we were greeted by the bartender, Scott L. He actually MADE our first dining experience. Since both my husband and I wanted to try new things, Scott made suggestions we didn't think possible. For example, my husband does NOT like the taste of Nori or the sushi vinegar in the rice - Scott recommended either subbing the nori for either soy wrap or cucumber. So my husband had the Tofu Junkie Roll sub cucumber for nori and the Fish and chips sub hibachi veggies for the chips. I tried the Joe roll and the California Sunset classic roll. We split an order of salted garlicky Edamame. Lastly, I did feel like a pint of one item on the beer menu because they're were so many things I wanted to try. Scott suggested a "flight" of 8 samples, which actually sorta equates to a pint and only paid $8.50. Overall, the food was great even my husband actually liked the California Sunset, the samples were great... But what made everything great was Scott! We were so gung-ho to try the B&I s'ok, next time, but we still had a wonderful evening at Front 43. TY Scott L.
Service here is great! The bar staff and wait staff made me feel at home . Drinks were well made and the price was reasonable! #winning
Really nice vibe...like a neighborhood bar. I'd have given it 5 stars but I had the WORST caesar salad. It reeked like dead fish. To be fair,the waitress warned me there were anchovy slices on it. It was. Ot even edible. Ill go back again ..just no Caesar salad.
Ordered the Front burger with fries. The burger was large, but not much flavor. The fries were limp. Would not recommend. There are better places in town to get a burger.
Incredible ambience, food, drinks, and staff! Absolutely love it here. Skipping the wait with a reservation is always my go to. Great vibes and environment and the staff is always so friendly and positive!
We had Chicken Quesadillas, Fish n Chips and Gouda Mac n Cheese. Food was exceptional and servers are AMAZING. Knocked off one star for a fruit fly hovering over our table. If there are fruit flies in the front end, they most certainly have them in the back.
Always great! Variety of menu is fantastic. Sushi, pho, burgers, tacos and best nachos in lansing. Don't forget tons of craft beer and great cocktails.
This place is so hard to rate... The food is fantastic, lots of options; even for my vegan lady. Most of the servers and management are very nice... Buuuuut the service 3 times out of 5 I've been there has been AWFUL. Very slow and inattentive. The two times I've gotten good service, it's been a manager as my waiter. The door staff is also very subpar, very much in their own little world.
I wantes to be a fan of this place however I was not. The food was meh... However the service was very sub par. I don't even believe the server came back to check how the food was. They also short changed me and charged a card fee even though I paid with cash so I didnt occur that fee.
