I had tried the few that were here and sadly had been let down each time by poor quality fried chicken, either too soggy or lacking flavour, and always for waaaay too much money! Finally we decided to try the Fritou in Loretteville which is about a 15min drive from where we live pretty far, the furthest one in the city from us. It was absolutely amazing! The best quality possible, better than even anything we'd found anywhere in Quebec. The owner ws very friendly and also generous in offering us free drinks for our first visit and also extra coleslaw. The price was perfect, very worth it, even when having to drive so far! Don't go anywhere else if you need fried chicken - this is the absolute best in town, perfectly crisp, not greasy or soggy at all, the fries and gravy are excellent as well, and the military veteran owner is a grear person who I am happy to support! To the owner: Thanks so much for your food, truly a delicacy! Never change the cooking process or quality!
