Fresh Market Restaurants

I had Fresh Market cater 2 days of meetings at Square One. Gary, the manager, was absolutely wonderful. He worked with our budget and menu requests and went above and beyond to meet our needs. The food was fresh, delicious and plentiful. The smoked salmon/croissants were particularly popular and flew off the platter. Overall, they offer very good value for the money. I would definitely use Fresh Market again.

I always pass by the restaurant and notice the great variety. I stopped for a drink and snack this time. The coffee was decent. It is on the pricier side for what is simple run-of-the-mill drip coffee. I will likely not return for coffee but the baked goods were good.

Sometimes, when I feel like snacking, the fresh market is always my top choice. They offer a variety of food. I recently tried the vegetable quiche, and it tasted so good! The pie is crispy on the outside and filled with savory ingredients, egg, and vegetables. I like it because the egg is really juicy and not too dry. It's perfect with the crispy shell, but it's a bit expensive.

I can only speak to their muffins and crepes which are both always fresh&delicious! They’re extremely generous with the amount of fruits and chocolate on the crepes and they’re 2 for 1 Monday-Thursday from 3-9pm Enjoy!

I love the Muffins here!! The coffee is really good!! The staffs are friendly and attentive. Yummy treat after a long working day.

No where it says there is Service Charge n it is Automatically included; & they Avoid giving you The Bill too. It is not only unethical but illegal. It should be Stopped or taken up by CBC or GLOBAL news n reported to Ministry of Consumer n City licensing office.

Wide variety with an amazing atmosphere. Staff and the management are very helpful and friendly and will go out of the way to make sure that you are fully satisfied. My favorite was Chicken Schnitzel and Strawberry Crepe with Nutella , Wow! . Out of the world.

Had the friday fish and chips special. Fish was cooked perfectly and to order, moist, and well seasoned, with acceptable levels of oil. Price was comparable to other fish and chips locations, middle of the range- I've had cheaper, but I've also had more expensive. Portion size was also good. They cleanup your table when you're done, so no need for self tray disposal. Food was a solid 4, service is a 5, and atmosphere is a 5, with multiple seating options available.

Fresh Market charges you a 10 % service fee even if you do takeout. I ordered a coffee and a cookie and was surprised to see the extra charge. Staff don’t warn you at all. Highly unethical practice by this restaurant.

There is a complete lack of respect and refusal to serve customers when you walk into this establishment. I was waiting around for service while employees either blankly stared at me or looked away. Food prices are standard however the Rosti was sitting around in a pan. I asked if it was hot or freshly prepared and I was met with a stare. A giant vat of sour cream was sitting on the counter unrefrigerated and the woman proceeded to add a tiny amount to the Rosti that I ordered with chives. Not worth the price nor the health risk. There was a giant line to pay the cashiers seemed inept and ill-advised. Very slow and seemed like everyone lined up had some sort of service issue. Customers should receive 10% off their bill rather than a service charge for the lack of service and for take out meals. It would be advisable to increase your prices rather than make a fool out of your customers. I was also asked if I was dining in or taking out but they charge the service fee anyway which seems redundant. If you want your customers to be mall employees only continue with these shady practices as paying customers will vote with their dollar and go to the plethora of establishments available at the mall to dine.
